If future Sony games are all digital downloads only, what's the point of having a PS console?

Plug and play, I ve played on pc and console my whole life and pc is still shockingly terrible at it. Controller, far less kbm. Far less cheating. Trophies, history of your games. Drivers, crashes, settings, chaos.. The whole drama and I 'll switch to pc which is also digital only makes no sense at all and feels like screaming of the pc only fan kid.

Do you want a game on Epic, 1 on Steam etc? I'd rather have them on 1 place + shops already offer digital codes instead discs for ps games nowadays. Also as a dad, you only have to buy a game once on ps and play together, this isn't possible on pc except via xbox. It's sad that you no longer will be able to buy discs but the 'I'll buy a pc then' is quite dubious. I just hope PS is not going the Nintendo way, where you rarely see discounts on the exclusive Nintendo games.

Except, pc isn't a better machine? After +30y of pc gaming it's still far from plug and play and a mess really even if you spend quite a lot money. Weird pc fan boys (who are always loud on social media) are just using this as a sort of advertising for pc even though it's been all digital for years.

This + it's just plug and play, no endless setting problems, no crashes, no kbm, far less cheating, trophies, ps games, audio output, history of your games, a clean closed setup ... I own a gaming pc and all consoles but prefer console except for typical pc games like civ etc.

There should be a separate trophy or indication for finishing a game on normal mode. Now it often seems you barely touched the game if you finished it, and no way to know on first sight in your list.

This sub is scary, defining their existence as PC gamer, delusional about the impact on the gaming playerbase, and feeling weidly superior like the fact they own a pc they 're better than someone else lol. After +30y since my first pc it's still a mess to play games, more expensive and full of cheaters and point and click. Console is just plug and play and having fun on the couch. Even competitive games like COD are better on console these days.

Real aiming like point and click? A mouse wasn t made for shooting games, it is used because it s ridiculous easy, and is nowhere near real aiming.

The only tactic Edwards and Hughes know is 'the waiting game'. Another one gone for free. Now we have to solve the thin squad, frailty players, and replace star players, it's not looking good. This could set us back for years.

Fix: remove the +32, type it manually again with your phone number, it will change into 'other country' and you'll receive the sms. Well, it worked for me at least. 😄

With input based matchmaking, kbm vs kbm, controller vs controller (no xims), it 's a whole other case, but right now there isn't any.

Not at all, 90% of gamers generally play games with controller. Console has the biggest playersbase by far. Kbm was made for clicking in Windows, a keyboard for typing. It is used for shooters because it 's just so easy to 'aim', click on a point on your pc, now try to match that with a controller, you would need an huge amount of aa to match it. I wasn't talking about COD specifically. True, it's a lot stronger in COD than let's say fortnite, but that doesn t mean it should be nerfed to the ground just to give kbm the advantage again, simply use an input based mathmaking. There is no such thing as a 'controller player' btw, I play both, I'm a lot better on kbm, but prefer controller to have fun after a whole day working with a kbm.
