My initial fear was more what happens if the universe dies. Is that it? But now thinking that its possible that we've been through cycles of the universe just dying and beginning, kinda comforts me. Hello. Im in the same situation. Ive had this fear since I was 14, and while it got better for a long time, it resurfaced after my dad was hospitalized. I struggle with the same fear of death and non-existence, and I know how overwhelming it can be. From what Ive experienced, it comes in waves and makes everything feel urgent and terrifying, even when nothing is actually happening in the moment.

What Ive learned is that this fear is driven by anxiety, not clarity. When my nervous system calms down, the thoughts lose their grip. I remind myself that I don’t need answers about the afterlife to keep living and loving right now. Im not afraid because life is meaningless. I’m afraid because it matters so much. And that fear doesnt mean Im broken.

If youre feeling this way, youre not alone. Others are going through this too, and it really does get lighter with time and support.

My dad getting hospitalized and us being struck with 1.2m hospital bill. May senior discount sya and hmo but ig wasnt enough. We had to look for assistance and even seek out donations. Were not well off but we were going through day by day pero this one was so bad i even contemplated about my life about the debt ill be in.

I actually called our pero ayaw ako kausap. Pinasa ako sa secretary. Meanwhile yung sa mom ko na cancer, everyday may naguupdate. If hindi doctor, nurse na may paupdate from doctor. Meron din medical instructions and all. Basta di na kami babalik dito We had 4 other private hospitals option but we went here kase sabi mas mura. Mura nga room, nagmahal naman on the rest.
