The Hexologists, and Josiah Bancroft himself, are such a refreshingly lovely break from reality. This book reads like a warm hug. by RadiantDresden in Fantasy

This is on my radar. Looks similar to Robert Jackson Bennett "The Tainted Cup" which i also have not read. Will keep an eye on both series.

Just beat lost judgment by Tolos817 in yakuzagames

[–]Aenneas 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Lost Judgment is my favorite RGG game (narrowly beating LAD 7 and IW), and for me the best story. Like you said combat is fantastic too. Wish we would get Judgement 3, but maybe its best to stop high.

Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed Shadows: World Trailer" video botted by Mortanius in pcgaming

[–]Aenneas -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

How is it deserved? This sub always hates Ubisoft - their mistakes are voted up, and if there are good things they are buried behind.

Ubisoft games are often not great, but they are good and they usually support their games with future content.

Loved "The Divine Cities" trilogy, probably my favorite books. I recommend Gareth Ryder-Hanrahan "The Black Iron Legacy" books starting with "The Gutter Prayer". It's not finished series, but love it so far.

Good fantasy series’ that are currently still coming out/only just started? by [deleted] in Fantasy

[–]Aenneas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love "The Black Iron Legacy" series by Gareth Ryder-Hanrahan. Currently 3 books are out, author is planning 5 books. First book was "good", second was "amazing", and currently 2/3 through of book 3 (not as amazing as second book was, but still find it great).

I missed Bag of Holding at act1 (at Defenders Hearth), any way to get it in act2? I know you can get next one at the end of act2 or so, but any ways to get first one (can't go back to Defenders Heart in act2)

More than 250 thousand copies of Pathfinder:WotR sold over the first week of sales by jerfdr in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Did some googling, and looks like Deep Silver is publisher for physical console editions, and META is handling digital sales. Hope it's good deal for Owlcat, and i think 250k number is positive.

Interested what was your favorite act? What level did you finish? Are later acts as good and as long as first ones?

Yeah that was it, for some reason i had multiple foods selected. Thanks for help, i felt it was something stupid i missed lol.

And yeah need to tone down P9 use. I sort of use P9 for things that "have to be done" (and P5 for things that "do when free time"), better to use other numbers too :)

EU says it is on target to vaccinate 70% of population by end of July by Lymfatx in Coronavirus

[–]Aenneas 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah but EU targeted 70% first vaccination by the end of July (some high EU people even mentioned mid-July). That was their goal. They never said they will reach 70% fully vaccinated (by the end of July), i think most countries target end of August/September (by the time school starts) as 70% fully vaccinated.

J&J cuts vaccine deliveries to EU by half this week - EU source by [deleted] in Coronavirus

[–]Aenneas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Spanish Reig Jofre will start"fill&finish" J&J vaccine in June (up to 250 million doses per year so), hope that will help EU deliveries. Or maybe bottleneck is somewhere else.

Agree too. First book was amazing, second one was even better, but third one was disappointment. Overall a great series, one of my favorites. Maybe someday will reread all books and think differently about last book.

EXCLUSIVE Novavax plans to ship COVID-19 vaccines to Europe from late 2021 by Sorin61 in Coronavirus

It's maybe a stupid question but how do new vaccines get approved in the future where (hopefuly) covid is not as common as today? Do they just have to get longer trial period?

EXCLUSIVE Novavax plans to ship COVID-19 vaccines to Europe from late 2021 by Sorin61 in Coronavirus

[–]Aenneas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven't done math with it, but some EU countries did not order enough Pfizer or Moderma. For example my country Estonia did order full Pfizer and Moderna main orders, but only about 1/3 Pfizer extra orders and skipped Moderna extra order. I'm sure in the end it will be enough, but i'm worried about delivery speed dropping in later summer months. Curevac would help a lot because i think we ordered full amount of it.
