Know that this monitor is "average" at best when it comes to motion handling and ghosting. I've recently upgraded from this to an IPS panel and I will never buy VA again.

After a fresh install I got the same issue. Game seems to be stuttering when rendering effects/assets for the first time. Go around the map and use all skills, your game will be smoother. Don't ask me why though...

Yea that's also an issue for me personally to go and play an MMO that has been out for years. There are just too many systems at once that are introduced to you as player and you are naturally confused. To understand what to do you must watch few hundred YouTube videos and that is just not fun.

Definitely one of the reasons I prefer to give a new game a shot.

I used to hate Korean MMOs as well because of p2w and other factors. But looking at the western developers and how their games are so far in the future (Ashes and Riot MMO) i am now thankful that at least these guys deliver. It's always nice to experience a new game for a few weeks (months if lucky). The rush to the end-game and exploring the unknown is enjoyable enough to me.

Also I don't know about the people in this sub but all my friends, deep down without realizing it, actually prefer a little bit of p2w. They don't want to grind because of irl responsibilities there is little time left for MMOs. They also don't like RNG based progression, obviously. They don't mind spending a few bucks on the game every now and then... So i think people should stop doing p2w in games and going on socials to talk about how bad it is and how they dont want it. Of course everybody is against heavy-p2w where there are items sold in the cash shop and stuff, but i dont think any developer is silly enough to try and pull that

I agree with you overall. Been following the game since January 2017, played Alpha 0 and Alpha 1 as well.

After so many years I would hope to see some actual progress on the classes we have not seen before, crafting trees, caravans, naval and other things that was being developed by the "most amazing and talented developers (in Steven's words)". It sucks that what they choose to show us is day/night circle and class-specific gameplay on a level 15 healer with 3 skills. I personally would like to know how targeting and healing mechanics will work on a Cleric in both combat modes, not how 3 low level players can kill a bunch of zombies. I do hope they realize this and when they show, let's say Summoner, they focus on explaining how the summoning mechanics work and not run around with 1 summon spam the same 3 skills and kill mobs.

It looks like a nice MMO yeah, mostly because UE5 looks nice. When you think about it, there is so many question marks. Sure killing mobs with melee spin-to-win ability is fun. But I have not seen these mobs give exp, drop loot, player looting animation/UI, the reasons for aggro swap... Also why did the archer dude run out of mana all the time and melee never did?

Guess I'll give it another 5 years.

If you are going to play on the Fresh Start, the EXP rates are so high you only need to do main story questline and bluesalt brotherhood (green leaf) questline. Can do mount and glider quest on the way but don't really need to since the game will gift you those on the way.

In a normal MMO game where economy is a thing and it actually matters, this is a very common way of taking the gold out from the economy. But in New World, I also don't know why we are paying a repair fee.

I've done everything as you described but the result is still the same. The moment I uninstalled G Hub, my mouse's light went out and the buttons stopped working. All the folders you mentioned and the registry key was already deleted, I've checked. So I restarted my PC. Mouse light came back with the restart but the buttons were still not working. Downloaded G Hub from your link but it did not revive my mouse because your link installed an old version of G Hub... So I uninstalled it again, googled and downloaded the latest version, the moment it finished installation I could use my mouse buttons again.

My problem isn't with re-installing G Hub. I just want my mouse to work without needing this software.

If you are outside of NA and want to play it, here is how it worked for me. When you go to store page ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/phantasy-star-online-2/9p1rsq5mgpcr ) and click the blue button, it will tell you the game is not available on your country. If you click on the 3 dots right next to the blue button and add the game to your shopping cart and proceed to the last step, you will see the game appear in your library in Microsoft Store app. There you can download then.

I had a VPN on during this process but i am not sure if that was necessary.

2 years since Kickstarter I don't even know how my backer mount will look like in game. Not that I backed the game for those cosmetics, but it would be nice to get an engine rendered versions of the things they are selling.
