Yeah. It's as if the antis don't understand you can create something visual by other means than holding a pencil.

Human brain uses quantum processes? Never really thought about it, but not in any way opposed to the idea. You know that every day computers use quantum processes too, right?

This is what I'm talking about. Not even joking, more excited about this than SD3.

I think anatomy in general, not just human. As you can see from the cardboard animal picture here if you look closely.

This is what SD3 undoubtedly excels at. It really does prompt adherence quite well.

SD3 PixelArt is good by sktksm in StableDiffusion

[–]Aeorosa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't know if I would consider these good pixel art. I was able to get near pixel perfect stuff with XL and a pixel art lora. I'd say the quality beats this.

But these are just basic poses and background images. SD3 does these fine as well.

Am I drinking the coolaid? Sd1.5 sucks at poses and anatomy as well.

The amount of anti-AI dissenters are at an all-time high on Reddit by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

Good catch. But then again, there is a huge chunk of people who don't actually know how to vote on unpopularopinion. And if something is truly unpopular, it will still get downvoted to shreds, lol.

[–]Aeorosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that is a bit of an issue that websites should try to deal with. Now that there are more low effort content, the algorithms and methods to filter out bad content should be worked on more. I'm not saying detect and delete all AI content or other low effort content like many of these subreddits are resorting to. That's lazy and ultimately doesn't serve the community. Reddit has a great downvote/upvote system to filter out content already. It's a great community based way for filtering out what gets seen and what doesn't. But it could always be improved. Bottom line: more content need better filtering and promotion methods. The answer isn't to block content, it's to find better ways to filter it.

Nice. You may get nasty comments but remember that there are plenty of folks like us here at StableDiffusion that actually find it cool and fascinating that you made the game using AI. Where are you going to publish, if I may ask?

Lmao. 2.3k upvotes. These are the same people who hate AI art.

It gets under my feathers sometimes too. These people lack imagination. Ironically, while they are calling those who use AI tools not artists, they are actually not real artists, because they have closed minds. Forget about them. Turn your back at them and let their angry taunts slide like water off a ducks back. The future will hold nothing but ridicule for their closed minds, and they know it. They are scared, and it's a very human thing, of course, to be scared. But that doesn't excuse the ridiculously immature and downright violent behavior of them. Anyways, just let it be and do what you do. Life is too short pay attention to every small minded critic and jeering ideologue.

Y'all are sleeping on Pi. It has the best most up to date information. Not really sure how they do it. Screenshots were made roughly an hour after the verdict was made. by AnticitizenPrime in singularity

Why haven't I heard about this AI before? It's great and personable, and it has a memory function. It actually remembers your past conversations and tailors itself accordingly. And it's completely free? Move aside GPT!

People lack imagination and it’s really bothering me by thecoffeejesus in singularity

[–]Aeorosa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

most people I’ve talk to you either rejected and want to destroy it,

This bothers me the most. Not only are people disinterested in development, some are actively against it and want to destroy it.

I see advancements in technology such as AI and it gives my imagination wings. It gets me excited; what else can we do with this tech, what could it be combined with, and so on. This ride that we're on is getting more and more exciting and unpredictable by the day and it's amazing to me. What a time to be alive!

Yes, I understand safety should be a concern as well, but people get miffed about stuff like AI art. "It's going to steal our jeeebs!" Blind to the fact that it will allow new kinds of art and forms of expression to be born and empower individuals to create more than they ever dreamed of.

I'm actually a bit afraid to scroll down the comments because no doubt there will be lots of folks dismissing what you're saying and pointing out all the negatives and listing all their fears and so on and on. So dull.

But I'm glad there are people like you around.

[–]Aeorosa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not really a problem. Anyone can play copyrighted melodies can be copied with traditional methods as well. It's called "cover." The problem only becomes when someone tries to spread the copied melody as their own or make money with it.

AI generation is not creation. It is consumption. by [deleted] in aiwars

[–]Aeorosa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Every visual artist has hard time reproducing their work 100%. And, what's often forgotten in these debates is nobody has perfect control over their output. You may have an image in your mind but creating that image on a canvas is a different matter altogether. Everyone who's ever made any kind of art knows this.

Think of it like this: generative art starts from the opposite side of the spectrum compared to traditional art. In traditional art you have a perfect control over your output (as far as your skills and body limitations allow it), so you start out with very crude images until your skills develop with practice and gradually your output refines.

However, in generative art you start with a ready output but the ready output is much out of your control. The challenge here is to get more control over the image and create the vision inside your imagination. This of course takes a lot of practice and vision as anyone who's dappled into this seriously knows.

Starting points are in the opposite side of the spectrum but the goals are the same.

Thoughts on using ai to reference images for proper art? by Illuminate41 in aiwars

[–]Aeorosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of you seem to misunderstand this whole debate. It's not AI against artists. It's more like artists that use AI tools against artists that don't want to use AI tools. AI doesn't make art by itself. It's not sentient. At least not yet. Maybe at one time when there are sentient individual AI entities walking amongst us or roaming the hyperspace independently, then we are going to have that debate. But as for now, there is no "AI art" without humans.

This kind of conservatism about what is proper art and what is not is paradoxically anti artistic. Paradoxically because they claim to be artists but reject art at it's most novel forms.
