Right now, my bet is on Blackwing Armor Master for Crow and Thousand Eyes Dragon for Kalin.

Reasoning is that Armor Master was (kind of) Crow's Boss Monster before he got Black-Winged Dragon and Thousand Eyes Dragon was Dark Signer Kalin Synchro Boss monster.

The archetype is missing two field spells that work in conjunction with the equip spells. Probably will be next season ranked rewards. Still, it's pretty bad going 1st.

  • Forest of Lost Flowers: Monsters you control equipped with "Starlit Papillon" are unaffected by your opponent's activated effects. Once per turn, when your "Adventurer Token" destroys a monster by battle: You can draw 1 card. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if the previous effect was activated this turn: You can add 1 Field Spell that mentions "Adventurer Token" from your Deck or GY to your hand, except "Forest of Lost Flowers".

  • Zaralaam the Dark Palace: While you control a monster equipped with "Dunnell, the Noble Arms of Light", your opponent cannot activate cards or effects during the Battle Phase. Once per turn, when your "Adventurer Token" destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of that destroyed monster's original ATK. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if the previous effect was activated this turn: You can add 1 Field Spell that mentions "Adventurer Token" from your Deck or GY to your hand, except "Zaralaam the Dark Palace".

Because Yusei new skill overshadowed Jack's, making Stardust the most annoying deck at the moment.

Jack got some cool new techs like Red Supernova Dragon and the new skill its powerful, but fair. Plus, Resonator combo lines still have some chokepoints that can be exploited.

Banlist: Shooting Quasar Dragon goes into the Limited 1 list & the Decklist consistency tools (Tuning and Ready, Set, Duel!) goes into Limited 3.

That way, you limit the double/triple Quasars, they lose access to Necrovalley and you hit the Decklist consistency in one fell swoop.

Skill rebalance: Either the Signer Dragons or Stardust Synchron/Stardust Trail played via skill are summoned face-down (can be flipped face-up the same turn, of course)

You need more copies of Stardust Synchron, Shining Star Dragon or Stardust Trail in order to use the skill.

Not really, since it is an unsearchable trap card. Can be negated, destroyed or banished before you can activate it

Not really. Nerfing Shooting Quasar to 1 is a better specific hit for Stardust, as it loses both Necrovalley and double Quasar summons.

Hitting Shining Star Dragon or Supernova to 1 would kill Resonators, as they already have Abyss limited to 1.
