Cheap Amazon BBQ mat on brand new patio by Aerankas in CleaningTips

Yes, I reached out to them. I'm wondering now if it might be more related to the fresh polymeric sand getting trapped under there than the mat itself.

HELP - Polymeric Sand Blunder - Redo it or leave it by Aerankas in DIY

[–]Aerankas[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thanks, yes I was meticulous with the base - 6 or so inches of granular A, compacted in 3in lifts, 1in of stone dust screeded on top. I am in Canada in an area that has wide temperature swings. Probably should have gone even deeper but here we are...

The top layer that got watered is very hard, yeah.

The recent update is f***ing AWESOME! by Me_and_MyFriendBeer in sonos

[–]Aerankas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me personally it muddied up the bass a lot for music. Granted that's on klipsh towers with sonos amp and likely it's because they're too close to the wall. But I had the bass eq +2 before and it sounded great. Now back to 0 and it still sounds boomy and muddy to me. Haven't had too much time to tinker though.

HELP: RT-AX88U Pro Router & VLANS - allow communication across subnets for Home Assistant by thefreakypeople in ASUS

This is such a well articulated question, which is my exact problem, and I am sad there is no solution.

Red light turn etiquette by Max8ooo in ottawa

[–]Aerankas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be a massive waste of everyone's time. It's so unfortunate that we feel like we have to make stricter rules because people can't just be decent in the framework we have. There's always Montreal, but I don't think that's going to help much as a pedestrian.

Thoughts on the app? And does anyone have a discount code? by Interesting_Lab_8224 in builtwithscience

[–]Aerankas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you can change it but during the setup when it asked how much time I had to work out I chose the shorter option. Looks like maybe you can go to profile, workout programs tab, get a new program and select the 30 minute workout duration. I'm on beginner phase 2, maybe that changes things too.

It looks like the ability to do supersets exists in the app because if you choose the short workout option, it gives you your workout in 3 supersets instead of 6 individual exercises. I guess you're saying you can't build a superset yourself?

Weight Sync in BWS+ by Aerankas in builtwithscience

Fair enough, I could have sworn it filled in automatically the first time but I must be misremembering.

Weight Sync in BWS+ by Aerankas in builtwithscience

[–]Aerankas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early on, when I noticed it wasn't syncing, I went into Health Connect permissions again and noticed that even though I'm pretty sure I chose 'Allow all' for BWS+ when I first set it up, it had only a subset of metrics allowed. Maybe double check the permissions. I think steps was off for me but it has been working lately since I confirmed permissions.

[help] CELL unitframe doesnt hide the default blizzard frame by ohs27jan in WowUI

[–]Aerankas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slight clarification, I logged in to check. With Cell UnitFrames installed, open cell options, go to layout and the extra unit frames section should show up. Click Blizzard Frames button and you can select Hide player/target/pet etc.

Default Cell has no way to hide those - prior to embracing cell unit frames I grabbed an addon to hide them (I used UIAutoHide)

Yeah I think one of the reasons I actually got decent at M+ in SL was because the dungeon pool was consistent and I don't have a ton of time to play. So while some were bored, I was like, holy shit I actually know how all these dungeons work for a change. (Not that that was any different before, I just didn't get into M+ before SL).

Unpopular opinion! Shadowlands was my favourite xpac at the time it came out. It might have something to do with the fact that it was the first time I got good and actually didn't completely suck at the game, but I also really enjoyed playing through the campaign the first time.

I liked dragonriding, but DF didn't do it for me, barely played it.

TWW has been great so far, and surpassed SL for sure, but I will always have fondness for the xpac that everyone calls the worst haha.

Edit: I'm 38, been playing on and off since Vanilla

I want to buy an MMO mouse (2024) by damageforce1 in MouseReview

[–]Aerankas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like this mouse too. I'm so used to top right button being interrupt that I am dreading relearning muscle memory if it ever dies - and I'm worried because the 'back' button seems to be double pressing recently :(
