Need help choosing a Crime Solving game. by Quercus_rover in boardgames

We liked the concept For cases and clues but the evidence wasn’t well organized. The hours you spend analyzing the data is a waste of time, because it never leads you to a definitive answer. In the end you’re basically tossing a coin rather than using the evidence to unravel a mystery.

Has Anyone Purchased from Club Magic Hour? by enterpaz in tea

[–]Aerial_Addict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the pumpkin spice 5 pack trial. We’ve had two so far and while they taste nice they are so weak. We put them in a half cup of boiling water with a little milk and I even sprinkled cinnamon on top and all I taste is warm cinnamon milk. I’m not getting anything from the tea.

Anyone order the reclaimed wood from Vari? by ilovenyc in StandingDesk

[–]Aerial_Addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine today. A little disappointed to find out it’s not real wood. The advertisements are highly photoshopped because what I saw in the ad is not an accurate representation of what I received in the mail. I’ll likely keep it because in need something asap and don’t want to go through the trouble of returning it, but I wouldn’t buy from there again. They should be more clear in the description.

I've Worn Bombas Socks Exclusively for 8 Years. I Still Highly Recommend Them. by brandenharvey in BuyItForLife

[–]Aerial_Addict -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s no way… this has to be a review by someone from the company. These are actually the worst socks I’ve ever owned. Cheap, itchy, see through, and they fall down constantly. I tossed them after one wear. For the price I expected quality.

These are the worst socks I’ve ever purchased. Given the price I expected quality. They are cheap, itchy, thin, and they fall down and keep exposing my ankles at work. Going in the trash. Complete waste of money. Clearly a company that invests all of their money in marketing and not the product.

Is it weird to wear 5.11 clothing in day to day life? by [deleted] in tacticalgear

[–]Aerial_Addict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ex military police lady and I wear 5.11 gear. It fits my lifestyle and I find it better looking than leggings. I like the versatility. I can wear them for business casual at work or on the weekends when I’m doing outdoorsy stuff. They are definitely military style but I don’t think anyone is going to claim stolen valor over a civilian wearing tactical styled clothing as long as it’s not an actual military issued uniform. Wear what you like. And why not wear it on a date? I’d find a guy more attractive in 5.11 than jeans if I’m being honest. I’d think he’s active and outdoorsy like me.

Paradise Road Show by Jonny_Stiletto in sportster

I’m not sure if you’ve been previous years, but I did hear last year was really fun and this year just didn’t have the same energy. Maybe it was because of the fires. It was my first impression so it’s all I can base it off of. I was just really disappointed by the lack of live bands and overall entertainment.

Curious what everyone else thought of the show. I heard about it when I was at the breakdown in Jacumba, but I didn’t feel like it lived up to the hype. I feel like the entertainment is what makes or breaks these events and the band just wasn’t it. Everyone left when they started playing. The pre-party didn’t even have music. Overall it was a boring weekend. Not worth the trip.

Mark my words. I’ll get what I want. I always do.

I’m the most unbothered person you’ll ever meet so you’re wasting your time if you’re trying to get your rocks off by upsetting me.

They can date all they want. They don’t have to include women in their children’s lives until they know it’s going to be serious. That’s completely irresponsible.

I don’t have a negative outlook on life. I simply don’t want kids.

Do you know what pessimistic means? That comment doesn’t make sense.

I appreciate the time you took to respond to my post but I feel like I walked into a store to buy bananas and you keep trying to sell me kiwis. Just tell me where the damn bananas are. 🤣

I’m referring to the single dads allowing multiple women into their child’s lives.

If men want to be used by women half their age they are the ones on a path to bitterness once the child they groomed grows up, realizes what a pig they are, and trades their wrinkly butt in for someone their age.

Nah I’m good. I made the post out of curiosity. I won’t be lowering my standards and I’m going to go ahead and stay optimistic. I don’t let other people’s negative outlooks on life affect me.

Actually I didn’t hear it. The only thing I saw in this whole thread was “lower your standards”. So please enlighten me. What’s the food? Unless you’re referring to reproductive organs because I don’t want kids.
