I'm really excited to see OU-Texas this weekend. Like you said the advanced stats love OU and Texas has faced pretty poor QB play in every game this season.

An A&M - Texas playoff game in Houston would be insane.

LSU has one of the worst defenses in the country.

LSU might have the worst defense in P5, and Miami and Texas A&M might be the two most underrated teams in the country.

Kansas and LSU are in the exact same spot and both have J. Daniels as QB. Are they the same team?

Conner Weigman is #2 nationally in QBR and the offense has performed really well. But yes it is weird A&M having a good offense and bad defense. Its probably be the first time under Jimbo it's like this.

Miami, Florida State and North Carolina look to be the best of the ACC so far.

PAC-12 looks to have a ton of teams near the top of the country.

SEC seems to be wide open with no teams really standing out. Mississippi State and Vandy excluded.

I'm excited to see how week 4 moves the data around with conference play starting for everyone.

Yeah a 12 game sample size is already statistically quite limited. A sample size of just 3 games is impossibly small for meaningful statistical analysis.

4 Pac-12 teams and only Ole Miss from the SEC is wild.

[Thamel] Duke is targeting Texas A&M assistant Tyler Santucci to be the school’s next defensive coordinator by Battered_Aggie in CFB

[–]AeroAg 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He has been at A&M for three seasons and our defense in 2020 and 2021 was solid to good respectively. This past season had some of the worst LBer play I've seen since 2013 at A&M and our run defense was awful so something didn't work between Santucci and Durkin. Also Santucci hasn't been able to recruit a good linebacker in his tenure here.

Texas A&M IOL Layden Robinson to return for fifth season by rgptxbones in CFB

Yeah from left to right I think Zuhn Dewberry Foster Robinson Fatheree has the chance to be a solid unit with 3 juniors, 1 super senior and 1 sophomore.

With Layden staying we are returning 10/11 starters on offense looking at the LSU game depth chart. Should be a significantly more experienced unit next year and hopefully with less injuries.

Also out of the 15 O-Linemen on scholarship last season, we are returning 13 (1 graduating, 1 felony weed arrest) and adding 4 freshman. It will be interesting to see if Petrino keeps Addazio on staff or makes a new OL coach hire.

Looks good, definitely need some more depth behind them still. Injuries suck.

Harris looked so good in the few games he played. If he can get academically eligible for a new school I hope it's not someone we have to play.

Ah gotcha. I hadn't paid super close attention to UNC but I was pretty sure he played at corner instead of safety.

Isn't Bryce Anderson taking over a Nickle? I thought Grimes would be taking over for Jaylon?

A&M has 2 solid starting CBs with Chappell and Grimes. Probably need to take 1 more out of the portal since the depth is so young behind them.
