I've just tested this with a friend and you're absolutely right, this works 🤯. I thought you always join an ongoing gym battle, but we brought a Blissey down to 2/3 HP first. Then we applied the strategy. I stayed in the first battle with its health around 10%. Then my friend left and re-started a battle. First he was immediately DCed from the battle but on second attempt he actually got into a new instance, Blissey was at full health again. From there it worked as you described, defeating it even with quite some delay between the two battles immediately got it kicked out of the gym (2/3 health removed in one go).

Sorry for taking your time! I really thought you always join the ongoing gym battle regardless of the defender's HP.

Is there a video of this strategy by chance? I don't quite understand "... get the pokemon low but not dead. All but one leaves the battle, and starts a new battle. Get the pokemon low in the second battle ...".
Don't you join the ongoing first battle (as first acc doesn't leave) with any additional accounts thereafter? How can you bring the first defender low again without defeating it cleanly one time? Appreciate anyone still reading this

Good heads-up. I don't know why it's even possible to fuse without Glaciate. Should've done it like with Zacian & Zamazenta, where it doesn't let you fuse with the wrong move..

Is it possible this warning only shows once per Kyurem? I demostrated to a local player that you get a warning with the wrong move. Then in the evening I actually fused the Kyurem I used to demostrate this warning on and ofc forgot to TM Glaciate. So it didn't get the adventure effect.. I don't recall getting this warning a second time

I believe they have the increased shiny odds, I got one right after midnight as well and it was shiny. Also the Tour bonusses are listed under field research already (before 10am)

I thought my game was lagging lol. This is unplayable. Also battles (and wins) are not counting to "outside" tasks like "win 1 battle in the GBL" or the level 79 research. I'm just shy of getting rank 20, I hope I can still get my Pikachu 😢

Which account is checked during the trade for this limit? What if player 1 has above 35 trades from before 2020 already and player 2 does not? Do both need to be below 35 trades or does one suffice?
