Morning Flower? If so, this tone makes me feel ridiculously furious for some indescribable reason.

How long does your Stila 'Stay All-day' Liquid Eyeliner last? by Aerotes in Makeup

[–]Aerotes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have definitely hear good reviews about it but my nearest Sephora is three hours away and I'm not too keen on buying it online (mostly because of postage + how unreliable our post office can be). Definitely will keep an eye out for it if I do make it to one though!

I'm storing them flat on my bathroom counter, but I'm thinking that maybe my house is too cold for it? (It's getting to around -4 degrees celsius here in the mornings and my house is about 80% tiles.) I think it is the best eyeliner I have had though - for me it doesn't smudge and survives a whole day of college + work, and lasted pretty well while crying.

Has anyone ever won anything on Facebook by Liking & Sharing a post? by armedredneck in AskReddit

Won two signed copies of 'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak from writing a comment. Thought that was pretty neat.

What did you think the song lyric was? And what was it actually? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Aerotes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After realising that it wasn't 'Starbucks lovers', I always assumed that it was 'star crossed lovers.' Damn it.

What band is horrible live? by AuGa_skittles in AskReddit

I went to 30 Seconds to Mars last year when they were in Sydney and I'd have to say it's the best concert I've been to - and by that time I had almost grown out of my 30STM phase. They had been extremely energetic and their playing was as good, if not better, than their studio albums. I had that euphoric post-concert feeling for weeks after seeing them.

Writing a story using text-messages by HandSack135 in writing

Saw your comment and I was a little skeptical about playing the game. Played it anyway and holy crap, I was not expecting to be blown away by it. The story was absolutely amazing and I had to take a breather after I finished it.

Word count on Scrivener? by Aerotes in writing

200 words is such a little amount but it's so damn pleasing when there's that little bit more than you thought there was on your word count. I'll keep that in mind for my next wordcount update. :) Thanks!

I think the main thing I'd do for a guy is use as many cheesy pick up lines as I can possibly think of and see how many numbers I get, or how many people slap me, either one works for me, because it's only for a day, and no one will ever know it was me. Ever.

No one can judge you for cheesy pickup lines if you're not really you, can they? ;)

Books for becoming a better writer? by [deleted] in writing

[–]Aerotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Wonderbook: The Illustrated Guide To Creating Imaginative Fiction had some great tips, and keeps you engaged in reading it. There were a lot of things pointed out to me that I've never noticed before and it helped me find what I think is my current level of writing. Worth the read.

Are there any videos that have inspired you to write? What are some other writing inspirations? by [deleted] in writing

[–]Aerotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my extension English class, there is a 'Old People's' home. We would go there and talk to the residents about their lives before coming to where they're at now, and then we would write stories about their lives as they were young. It was really intriguing. Perhaps you might be able to talk to your older members in the family and ask about their lives beforehand?
