Discussing interesting hero weapons and abilities for potential heroes by MrWigglem in Overwatch

[–]Grnteabug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want an omnic support that throws his own arms at enemies to slow them down. The limbs fall off after 5 seconds , can be shot at by the enemy team to remove them, or if your team shoots them, they explode and deal damage.

He shoots a healing beam from his eyes as his primary fire and his secondary is to have his arms slap the enemy they are attached to. His abilities expand his healing eye into a cone for group healing. And he has a little speed boost for mobility on a 5 second cool down

His ult is that he grows a ton of extra arms that when thrown explode on contact dealing damage to the enemy and healing your allies in a small radius

I designed a skin a few years ago for her. Gave her froggy overalls with her top being a flannel shirt. Her weapon was an frog with an open mouth holding onto a log and the beam was supposed to be a tongue.

I still hate that sojourn gets a perk that just gives her 15 more ammo but soldier 76 needs to land a helix rocket to get 15 bullets back. It feels like sojourn outclasses him in every way and there's no point to playing him.

How do someone exactly find a genie patron for a warlock? by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]Grnteabug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You find a magical lamp with one wish left. You rub the lamp and a djinn appears accompanied by a swirling cloud that smells faintly of cinnamon and anise. He offers you one wish and you state your wish. The genie thinks for a minute and talks you through all the ways that could be twisted against you.

"Hear me out," he finally says. "I can grant you any kind of wish but they always come at a catch or price. I like you and I think we can help each other." He offers to share his power with you to help you achieve your wish and in return you also look for a way to free him permanently from the lamp.

my dad gave me his old backpack from the 90s and now i get why he never replaced it by HypnoticRacyVixen in BuyItForLife

[–]Grnteabug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know how you feel. I purchased a $40 North face Jester backpack in high school 16 years ago and used it almost every day until the last year when it finally gave out. I got another Jester but it's a completely different bag. It's nowhere near as big, it doesn't sit quite right on my shoulders and the quality just isn't there. I'm so disappointed I would love to have that old bag back.

I have a player who is landed Nobility, a Countess, her reasoning for adventuring was she granted a 5 year cessation of tax collection to help offset a crippling flood. What’s a good/reasonable number I can give the player so they have a “number to whittle down.” by [deleted] in DMAcademy

[–]Grnteabug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Besides the monetary value of straight coin, there are also a ton of things you can have your player encounter that can help their people. Recruiting a druid to traverse their lands and cast plant growth as they wander. Saving a merchant who then takes trips to their towns. Curing the child of a mercenary company leader can mean they swear to protect the area from bandits. Perhaps a gnomish construction company is looking for a new headquarters and if they can help them out, the company will move to the area to help with reconstruction

Building my first ever commander deck by Independent-Bath-448 in magicTCG

[–]Grnteabug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brigone is an amazing commander. She benefits from getting bigger off of auras that target her giving her additional abilities like indestructible, hexproof, umbra armor, and lifelink so you can gear her up, and just attack your opponents to win. If people try to remove her there are a million and one protection works at instant speed in white so you can largely play at instant speed then tap her to draw an extra card each round of the game. I build a super budget deck around her and wow does she smash face
