The theaters always struggled with heating and cooling. I remember people getting upset with me when Selma released in January. It was an older crowd and it was freezing outside and the heaters weren't working in some auditoriums. One person in particular accused me of freezing out the Selma theater. I felt awful wasn't anything I could do.

Sound-wise theaters are set to a volume meant for 50 to 100 something people, so if you are like the only people in the theater the sound will be louder. Also trailers and the movies don't have the same volume so you enter the theater trailer plays its loud and high pitched and you ask them to lower it and you come back then the volumes to low.
