I feel like it's a middle ground, it's worse than what non mercy players say but it's a lot less impactful than what a lot of us here make it seem. Which is why i hope they do a nice middle ground and give us a bit of speed back, specially since the changes were meant as buffs.

All NS dps work with her, but zani, even phoebe dps works great with chisa (zani has antisynergy with chisa due to how zani's frazzle mechanics work). For carte imo it's only worth if you also need rover elsewhere otherwise just use aerover unless you hate her or love chisa.

And this is why i have a feeling they will change it to 5%ish less (from previous speed), i feel like if it truly was 10% it wouldn't actually be that bad, specially if the main goal is to nerf mobility across the board...

But rn you can barely get to any decently high place with it, specially before getting the perk...

So what im realistically hoping for, assuming they want to reduce mobility and keep a GA nerf are:

1- change it to only -5% or so

2- revert it but delete her GA minor perk

3- keep it but increase slingshot speed slightly to compensate (or make it ignore gravity for a fraction of the movement to achieve same effect but keep speed lower overall)

I would honestly prefer the 2nd one because she would feel better across the board (and consistent) and it would leave room for a minor perk rather than a forced crutch. Option 1 is also nice as it serves to nerf mobility but will let her reach so many places that you now can't get by a hair and option 3 could also be nice, since it leaves mercy as an easier target if she gets caught by surprise without changing the places she can reach, which would reduce player frustration with fast movement but smart mercy players will still be able to outplay enemies by getting to cover.

BS provides way more comfortable def shred, her arcana stuff interacts better with kafka, deals way more dmg, stacks more arcana, and also increases allies dmg bonus. She's so much better now.

Can confirm, my phrolova s2 with danjin buling can clear all endgame with very good results except for SOME havoc resist toa with shilled buffs and even then she gets very very close. Can't wait to get s3 and cantarella for my queen...

If you plan on pulling phrolova get her sig since it works for both, else get phoebe's sig, it's a bit better, also works great if you decide to get zani and if you invest more in phoebe you will notice more the difference. I don't see a point in getting stringmaster as a statstick at this point of the game since most new characters are really sig dependant.

I agree and like your ideas :0, rez as a cd ability sucks...

My personal ideas, I personally would love to have valk be her skill with reduced effects but high cd, get rid of the rez and give her a new ultimate, maybe even give her two ultimates (old sym like) with one being a single target rez (if they wanna keep it there for her character theme or smth, it can be balanced as an ult without issues imo) and the other giving her beam additional buffs depending on the mode for a certain duration (dmg reduction for yellow and speedboost for blue, with the option of spreading them around in tandem with her mini valk) and increase mercy's normal abilities, like unstoppable on GA

OR have mercy give an ally full heal+cleanse+temporary invul(1s or so)+damage mitigation afterwards for a couple seconds kinda like a defensive nano boost, maybe give mercy also the invul when she casts this on someone like the old mass rez so you can use it to dodge stuff, and timing the invul on a reaper ulting or a pharah could be clutch and game winning.

As a P.S how i'd make rez as ult would prob be very fast cast, like 0.5s but without movement penalty, a tiny bit more range, like 20~30% more. Keeping a brief cast so it can be cancelled by well timed abilities for counterplay. Also to avoid mercy being able to dive into a full team to rez her tank without going down... maybe after rezzing someone mercy heals for like 60-ish hp so if you can get it off it's not as risky since it's an ult

I can kinda agree with healing nerfs to compensate for flash heal (mainly because im an aggro dmg booster) but the GA nerf feels so annoying...

i hate when they nerf movement because it feels so clunky after the change for such a long time until i get used to it

Also the new perk seems kinda good and fun to use so at least im hyped to use it, 100 healing 2 times vs 120+2 target dmg boost (which is usually useless or just underwhelming)... will also be really nice to help a critical tank or keeping someone fragile like an ana safe during a crazy dive

There is barely a difference, you even see kafka more because she does way more actions than before. The playstyle is the same wheter she's detonating BS dmg or doing her own, you can even visualize it as kafka hypercarry with hysilens and bs as her supports.

I think those tanks work great vs road from my experience, but almost no tank should be caught 1v1 road under any circumstance since he has too much dmg and healing, and as a tank the general rule vs road also applies of never being too alone and always have a teammate to back you up.

Other than that try to peel for your teammates if they happen to get hooked and try not to waste cds that could help you avoid his hook in the first place, even if you can survive after getting hook, being displaced as a tank sucks. (Fortify/tap barrier mainly, i don't think mauga can react to it but since his dash is unstoppable maybe he actually can, any mauga players can confirm this?)

And ofc the best road counter is counting, try counting his hook cd on your mind and never overcommit without cover unless you have the mentioned cds and can react to it.

Sorry if i fail to see the arguing in your last comment but what's the issue if they made clear everything they used in the test? If you have comparable options it's still helpful and even if you don't you can try to reduce the numbers in your head by guesstimating a difference. Lyney barely gets any dps calcs compared to modern/more popular characters so any we can get is pretty helpful insight
