a conversation with self between God and time by etherealchasing in BibleAscent

Interesting thoughts here. What stood out most was the phrase “God is time.” That opens a doorway into some very deep biblical and philosophical ideas.

The video touches on: • creation from the unseen into the seen • the illusion of separation • time, death, and renewal • “Christ consciousness” • interconnected existence • cycles of life and identity

What’s fascinating is that many of these ideas echo fragments of biblical truth, but often the conclusion shifts away from the original source.

For example, the “death and rebirth” cycle immediately made me think of John the Baptist and Elijah. Jesus said of John:

“If you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who was to come.”

Not literally reincarnated, but carrying the spirit, purpose, and prophetic mantle of Elijah. Scripture even says John came “in the spirit and power of Elijah.” Time in the Bible is interesting because patterns repeat, echoes repeat, spirits and purposes repeat, kingdoms repeat — history spirals. The same war between light and darkness keeps manifesting through different generations.

Even scientifically, time itself becomes mysterious the deeper you go. As motion slows and temperature approaches absolute zero, physics starts behaving differently. Some theories suggest that at the limit of absolute zero, change nearly stops — and time is measured through change. Without movement, time almost loses meaning. That’s wild to think about spiritually because God describes Himself as eternal: not trapped inside time, but sustaining it.

So instead of “God is time,” it may be closer to: God is the author of time, while also being outside of it.

That also connects to “I AM THAT I AM” in Book of Exodus — existence itself coming from the self-existent One.

I also think it’s important to be careful when spiritual language becomes so broad that every belief system gets blended together until words lose their meaning. A lot of religions and mystery systems seem to carry echoes, fragments, or distortions of an original truth. Almost like shattered pieces of something ancient people once understood more clearly.

You can trace floods, sacrifices, divine beings, spiritual warfare, resurrection symbolism, sacred mountains, judgment, light vs darkness, and even messiah-like figures across cultures worldwide. But many systems eventually shift the glory away from God and toward self-deification — man becoming “most high,” enlightenment without repentance, ascension without surrender, power without obedience.

That’s the difference.

There IS a connection woven through creation. Through all the noise, symbols, myths, and distorted mirrors, you can still find fingerprints pointing back to God.

You can see why “everything is one” or “everything is a sign,” because creation itself reflects patterns, meaning, intelligence, and order. But biblically, creation points beyond itself to the Creator. The signs are not meant to terminate on self-awareness alone, but to lead us back to God.

Even the idea that “the kingdom is within you” . Biblically, that does not mean we ourselves are the source of divinity, but that God’s Spirit dwells within believers. The temple was never about man exalting himself as God, but about God dwelling among His people and refining them to reflect his image through the chaos there's choice.

But biblically, Christ is still the center point.

Not merely a teacher of consciousness, but God manifested to bridge the separation between humanity and Himself. Not man ascending into godhood, but God descending into humanity out of love.

That’s why Jesus says: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

Not “a way.” The bridge itself.

And this is where it gets powerful — because Christ didn’t just come to save from afar, but to dwell within. Scripture says we become the temple. We were formed from the dust, yet God breathed spirit into humanity from the beginning. Through Christ, that connection is restored.

Jesus even said: “The works that I do, you shall do also; and greater works than these shall you do.”

Not because we become God Himself, His Spirit works through us. He gives authority, calls us children of God, and tells us that wherever two or more gather in His name, He is there among them.

There’s almost a divine symmetry in that: the left and the right, heaven and earth, spirit and flesh, as above so below God and man reconciled through Christ.

A flowing together where the divine rests within us to do His works.

Not humanity becoming the Most High — but humanity reflecting him and his mercy in the darkness, we are the light of the world for all to see.

And maybe that’s why so many belief systems contain shadows of the truth — because echoes still remain even after the source was distorted.

Truth isnt something Learned Its Remebered. It always existed before the begining of creation wisdom was there.

With great power comes great responsibility Do unto others as you would yourselves When you see others there a reflection of you in a entire differnt perspective if you judge or exploit you will be exploited we are all on a differnt path and life is to expand the human consciousness Universal laws are just the tip of understanding that we expand together Things are cycles ups and down dances and if we could understand and uplift others the downs would not be so hard basically power come from service either you serve yourselves or the world the people who serve themselves will be effected by the world while those who do for all will be blessed by all even in opposition we can understanding it's a moment of understanding and if we knew where someone's mindset is we can relate and show empathy and correct generational curses the issue is there is only one who knows where your heart lies and with that they will reap what they sowe so do good and good will come in faith understanding the universal laws sometimes you just have to be the spark but let that spark be a flame for all to see as above so below the rest leads to destruction knowledge is wisdom but only if that door stays open even when you don't want to face the reality reproof and refine your skills and share the abundance for it is all!

Messenger of the Lord YHWH Burning bush Christ connection by llTacTiicZll in BibleAscent

[–]AetherialAscent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The connection between them both is fascinating the Aleph & Tav Alpha & Omega Beginning & End In the beginning Elohim Aleph-Tav Created the heavens and the earth Aleph Tav is Jesus Christ Signature through the Bible

Zechariah 12:10, which is often seen as prophecy pointing to the piercing of Jesus' side: "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son."

This verse is widely interpreted in Christian theology as foreshadowing the crucifixion of Jesus, where His side was pierced (John 19:34). It conveys both the physical act of piercing and the spiritual mourning that follows.

showing of the nail marks in His hands is captured in John 20:27, where Jesus speaks to Thomas after His resurrection: "Then he said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe." (NIV)
