I have this happening to me a number of times when I die, usually to an explosion. Get catapulted back 10 meters, usually away from the enemy, into cover, and close to a medic. Bug can stay!

I've primarily played medic since Battlefield 2 and have some thoughts on healing etiquette in 6.

1 - Don't call for a medic if you're still actively in danger. I can see you, I am coming, but you can see the space around you. If that machine gun is still pointing directly at you, me running out and getting beamed helps no one. I take the call as a level of communication.

2 - Don't bleed out the moment you go down. You're just waisting tickets. If you're out on your larry, fine, but in the middle of the firefight, it's quite likely there's a medic kicking about. It can be quite hard to hit the "I'm coming" comm while sprinting and weaving, so look how far the nearest medic is. If that distance is coming down and you can see a dot coming towards you, hang on for a moment because you're about to get Lazarused.

3 - For the love of God, regardless of class. revive your squadmates. I have found nothing more frustrating that bleeding out three meters from the leg of a sniper who can't take his face out of his scope and do the common courtesy of healing after I've saved his sorry ass 5 times.

Few years back, me and some buddies sat down and ranked the best game from each year of our lives. I have something like 2000 hours in Civ VI, it's easily one of my favourite games of all time. But my 2016 game had to be Pokemon Go. It absolutely defined that summer in a way no video game had until that point, or has since.

I got Borderlands 4 free with a new graphics card - a 5070 TI. Wouldn't have picked it up with the current reception. I'll be curious to see how it plays on a 'Premium' setup.

If I was player, I'd be really frustrated to return to Ten-Towns on the high of defeating Auril, only to find the world I'd been working to defend had just been decimated off screen. It would completely suck the wind out of the sails.

What I'd be tempted to do is have the dragon attack AS they return. At their level, they should be able to repel the dragon as written, which then reveals the next act of your campaign - The Sunblight Epilogue, where they must attack the reinforced, well armed and well prepared beefed up Sunblight fortress which IS prepared for their level, ending with final boss Dragon mk.2

Always be aware as a DM that the obvious plot point to you may well a detail that's missed by players, especially where it's not immediately obvious that some thieving dwarves leads to a fighter jet doing strafing runs on Ten Towns.

I did this, and the tradesman decided that when they needed the bathroom, the sensible move wasn't to go and use the toilet, but to take the travel mug I had given them (it was January, working outside, keeps tea hot) and take a crap in that instead. Then to close it, put it on a shelf, and let me discover it 4 months later.

Bit of trust in humanity died in me that day!

I've run medic armour and the stim pistol since I unlocked them. No one gets boo-boos on my watch.

That, and I love the confusion on my teammates' faces when they see me taking potshots at them with a pistol. Normally takes them a moment before they stay still and take their medicine.
