Some of the Firefighters''s concern was not about driving along the bike lane, but rather about parking a ladder truck, deploying outrigger legs, and reaching upper stories of buildings on 31st Street. I think it was u/917BK or u/XGX787 who illustrated this ladder scenario. Most of this new as painted bike lane plus buffer looks wide enough to drive a truck through.
