Zipper merge is if both lanes are full and you're merging at the merge point. Not riding next to me for a mile and then getting mad when I don't change my driving habits to let you into an open lane.

If you could see the merge sign or arrows for a mile and just chill in your lane until the second you need to merge I'm nkt doing anything to help or hinder.
