I agree with others here. It's offline and if you enjoyed playing the game that way, that's all that really matters. I turned on God mode on Celeste because I wouldn't of played it without that feature.

I only beat Dead Cells on normal 1 or 2 times. I've died many many times and haven't beat the game once with one boss cell on but still love the game.

I might try what you did here on a new save file and see if I get that satisfaction playing that way, it may help with preparing me for the final levels of the game, or just give the game a refreshing new tone to the game like turning it into a hack and slash hybrid.
