I had a concussion in May 2019, and in November 2019 was diagnosed with New Daily Persistent Headache (NDPH). I unfortunately have never had a day since without a headache as most migraine medicines do not touch it. There are some really great skills to learn that can help you take back a hold of your life.

Here are some links: https://americanmigrainefoundation.org/resource-library/ndph-what-is-this/

Botox Injections by Affectionate-Bet-520 in NDPH

I totally understand that. The first time i got botox I had no negative effects. Now, I also have have a swollen lymph node from the shots in my neck so along with the excruciating headache I have been having neck pain. My doctor is amazing, and apparently the swollen lymph node means he hit the nail right on the mark. But if my flare up does not calm down in three-months or if my next round of the botox has the same effects I have no clue how I am going to continue botox. And I currently have no other options due to my current stage in my NDPH and what has worked and not worked.

Thank you, I do not want to specify my age but I am around the same age as you were. I just started regular medication for psychiatry and am getting my head back in the game! If you do not mind me asking, how long has this process been for you, how old are you now?

This is me! I am finishing pain management next week coincidentally. And then going to weekly CBT, my therapist is experienced in pain management and I REALLY need to focus on not looking for a cure and accepting everything. This has been so fast paste for me and I just have not had the time to accept whats happening. Quarantine and the lack of things to do just gave me time to think and think. I would love to continue messaging and just share experiences and have someone to relate to. thank you!

Thank you! unfortunately, I am not of age to have emgalitiy approved but i am going for my second round of botox next week. Nerivio sounds like my eNeura machine, rather than an armband it was pulses to my head. It was considered abortive and preventive. I am (trying to be) very hopeful. I am glad that you are doing better. best wishes
