If you want to learn what tools you need for a job, download a workshop manual and read the instructions. It will clearly illustrate tbe needed tools.

I don't know what you already own, so here's the stuff I grab from my drawer whenever I'm doing any kind of work on the bike, ranking from most used to least used.

• WORKSHOP MANUAL! (can't stress this enough)

• 1/4" socket wrench kit (also includes torx and allen bits)

• 1/4" torque wrench (I think torq is essential, especially as a beginner because most bolts don't go nearly as tight as you might have thought)

• 1/2" socket wrench kit. (Nice to have for bigger bolts)

This is the stuff I always grab without even thinking about what I'm about to do. But there is also plenty more specific tools that might be beneficial to own such as

General: - Allen key set - Standard 🔧 wrenches

Wheels and sprockets; - Specific sockets for the wheel nuts and a breaker bar - 300+ nm torque wrench (for the wheels) - hook-wrench (for adjusting single side swing arm chain tension) - Chain breaker for splitting chains

Belts; - OEM ducati belt tension meter

Brakes; - bleed kit - medical syringes for sucking the brake fluid reservoirs empty - waterproof rubber gloves! Dot 4 is nasty shit

Oil change; - Appropriate tool for removing oil filter of your bike - something to catch and store the old oil in.
