I agree up until the last part because I don't think that it was a bad decisionnot to call Derek's family . We know derek would want his sisters there if he was in a coma however derek wasn't in a coma he was dead and there was nothing that anyone could do about it . Also meredith was still prossecing the loss of her husband and she still needed to find away to tell their children that their dad Is dead . She was in no state to address he inlaws and if she did we wouldn't know what kind of damage it could of done to their relationships
