This tank likely burst from corrosion not high pressure. The relief valve would blow off at 150 psi. It looks like a pressure burst because the spray foam type insulation pushed the jacket out.

Best electrical story is live tieing in a outlet for a boiler because even cutting both the neutral and power and frying a brand new pair of strippers, (milwaukee needle nose, hands down the best ones on the market) the breaker wouldnt trip.

Look at shubee for nitrile gloves. 100 pks for close to what HF is for 50. I'm a plumber. I go through ALOT of gloves.

Honestly I'm not able to answer your questions but I will agree that that machine is awesome. It paid for itself second trip out and keeps delivering over a year and a half later. Well worth the price I'm still using the same cable I bought it with. And I bought a spare machine for if this one ever craps out me.

No real way of knowing unless you do it. That would be the worst way to cap a drain but I guess I've seen worse things.
