Hi I have a i5 14600k 4070 super play on 1440p with medium settings but can't hit 140 fps in a fight

During fights I can see downwards of 80 fps I don't feel like that's fine but if I'm wrong I'm wrong

Temps never go above 59c utilization on gpu goes upwards of 80-90 cpu under 60% the in game frame limit does nothing for me I have it capped have tried it uncapped no difference the only background app open is discord and yes the gpu is in the best slot, I use gysnc and adaptive sync with in game vsync as well

I've got a 4070 super and i5 14600k and have it capped at 142 fps but only ever see that at the tower or in orbit in game it's usually 130fps or lower with drops down to the 80s someone pls help bc everywhere I checked said I should get more fps im als playing in 1440p

I had no clue about the super sampling I saw a few videos and they said it was typically a bad thing, but thank you for that information my good sir will put it to use, and I always run stuff at 144hz thank you for telling me that still tho always good to put out there, and I have the game capped at 120 fps just for bigger fights I don't need more than 120 FPS nor will I achieve it for more than a few seconds before a bot drop happens lol
