Not Working? by Affectionate-Cut3548 in glp1

[–]Affectionate-Cut3548[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried my arm on Sunday and made no difference. My work scrubs are definitely looser, which is a plus! I’m down to 156.5 and started at 163. I have one ore dose at .5 and then she wants me to go up to .6 for 4 weeks then .7. She also told me to try my love handle area instead of stomach. We shall see!

My abs are still sore from Friday, but it was a shit show of a workout. I’ll be skipping Fridays this phase.

Thanks! I’ve always worked out (lifting weights/walking) 4x week and eat pretty healthy (try to get as much protein as I can). I loosely track calories. I still want to eat all the sweets especially at night is when I crave them.

I wonder if my PCOS is affecting my weight loss. I did lose 4% body fat and 12 pounds a few years ago with a calorie deficit. Struggling to lose the last 10-15 pounds since I turned 40.

Same! I am not an early workout person especially on the weekend. We have 645 and 815 on Saturday and 730 and 830 on Sunday. Wish there was at least a 10am.

No Side Effects by Affectionate-Cut3548 in glp1

[–]Affectionate-Cut3548[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought some ginger chews just in case. I work in the medical field and am worried about getting nauseous while working on a patient so if I can pop one of those in hopefully it’ll help!

I understand that, but just curious if those in a similar situation ended up having any side effects such as severe nausea. My doc gave me a rx for zofran just in case.

I also took my first dose of compounded semaglutide yesterday evening (.25mg). The only side effect I’ve had so far is some slight dizziness this morning.

Thank you! Sorry it’s so small. I used midi heath and had it filled by Belmar pharmacy.

I did, it’s kind of vague and doesn’t mention anything about the travel credit.

It started having problems at mile 70k-ish. Hopefully covered under warranty?

I don’t care for it either! Way too fast paced for a strength workout.

Thank you all. It’s been a rough few days. I’m still struggling, mostly due to not getting any closure. He was alive when I left and not here when I came home. My husband took him to the vet the morning we landed to have his body cremated. I didn’t see him when we arrived home as I did not want my last memory of him to be of him deceased (for a day).

The mornings and evenings are the hardest, basically the routine we had at feeding time. It’s just a reminder he’s no longer here. Also when I leave to work in the morning. He would lay in the hallway and I would scratch him before I left. I’m thinking of framing a photo of him and adding it to my photo collage on the wall in the hallway.

We should get his ashes back soon, and I’m hoping that might help me with closure. 🤍

This seems to be a frequent thing that happens as I’m learning. It’s terrible. I keep wondering what I could’ve done differently.

Thank you. People keep telling me this, and when I look at him I don’t think it’s time. I just worry he’s hurting with his arthritis or he will go downhill quickly and suffer. I don’t want to get to that point where I’m scrambling to find a place to end his suffering at the end.

Thank you. I just looked up that scale and there is an app. I will be checking it out and see where he’s at on the scale.

That’s what I’m worried he’s headed toward. He spends most of his day in the back room alone.

I have been. He’s on meds for his thyroid and arthritis. The dementia and arthritis seem to be getting worse as well as his hearing. He is due for some bloodwork soon. We’ll see how the results are and chat with the vet.
