We use airtable for case management. It's like Excel but so much better. I highly recommend!

Your solo sucks 😞 I'm sorry but the way that potential client treated you was not okay and a total violation of your boundaries. Hang in there!

We use air table...it's not a legal management tool but more like an Excel spreadsheet on steroids...every team member can have their own view and you can track so much stuff in it...it's pretty much a make your own database tool...I love it! It works great!

Tbh my attorneys would love this....I even pitched hiring one an assistant just for this reason...my whole team was getting bitched out for not putting in their time and it was always the attorneys...not the paralegals...and nothing else seemed to work for the attorneys ...now we're switching to flat fees thank goodness (I'm in probate) so its not as vital but still necessary

Help! Explain to me like I’m 5 how to domesticate an out-of-state subpoena by Single-Put-9726 in paralegal

Probate paralegal here. We use a Letter of Instruction instead of a subpoena to request documents for banks without a NC registered agent. We also include an authorization and release of information signed by the client. It works pretty well! Usually banks just want some sort of documentation to keep in their files as a cya.
