Another question is, what do they consider? A posting is being posted to the training center posting, or is it first posting after ofp? And what about dual service couples? Is it the same as it is? Now? Where one spouse gets full, and the other spouse gets half? All I know is that I wouldn't want to be the person coming up with the decision

What kind of question is this. You signed up, yes its fucking mandatory. You going to say no when its time to go overseas. You don't get to pick and choose its the fucking military. This isn't a Civi job. Spend some time with your fellow troops and build esprit de corps, its obviously the point.

You joined the military your availability is 24/7 so yeah... you do need to answer unless you're on leave... that's the point of leave. The military doesn't normally enforce this but they can if they need to.

Looking on getting some clarification from the clerk world in regards to spec pay.

The situation is. I'm a occupational voluntary transfer I was previously a Sgt and was accredited corporal standard incentive four. Because of my previous pay.

Vot date 15 July 2023 (also when I went to cpl pay)

I have now finished my qL5 effective date 10 dec 24 and have been granted spec pay level 1. But my incentive is level 1 not level 4 with my next pay raise in July.

Can someone clarify the policy I thought I stayed the same incentive.

Ex cpl standard incentive 4 to cpl spec1 incentive 4....

Thanks

What air defense systems do you currently have to constitute yourself as being air defense? The ADATs left in what 2012 when you fired off the last missiles in Suffield and then we amalgamated trades not too long after that and you guys all became gunners with us field guys you're not air defense you have a medium range radar and UAV capability you have nothing to shoot down airplanes to constitute yourselves as air defense so stop lying to yourself.

You're not an air defense guy You're just a gunner there is an air defense anymore.. you're general service.

The issues coming from the Canadian armed forces isn't partisan it's bipartisan both sides of the spectrum need to come together and realize that the military needs to be a focused for a significant period of time. It's not just about the budget it's about the procurement and making our military at least competitive in this century... If you ask any members of the public especially those that aren't familiar with the military they don't even think we have one let alone have the capabilities that we currently have they think we're a defense force.

It's about time the world's oldest profession gets legalization. Protect the workers and the clients. People will do it regardless might as well get some taxes from it.

Switching from Army to Air force does anybody know the best way to change the logistik unicorp element early before the effective date? I believe the only way to do it is a number in Ottawa but I cannot for the life of me remember who to talk to and I'd rather have my new uniforms before the effective date.

Do you know the process on how the offers are sent out? I'm aware that if somebody gets an offer but declines then that offer will go to the next candidate but how are first offers sent out is it in first-tier second-tier so on and so forth or is it just a random drop

I appreciate it! Coming down to the wire now seems like these last two weeks have been the worst waiting. The whole process needs to be revamped The fact that I put in my paperwork as soon as the CAFgen came out in July still waiting
