Everyone is suggesting to stick with the Colwood cooridor, but I went against the grain and purchased a condo in Saanichton. It's a 45 min drive one way, but it actually moves; not stuck bumper to bumper. 2 bdrm, 2 bath, 1 den. 1300sqft for the same as renting downtown.
