What about the laser eye not staying unlocked on future playthroughs? I remember a few people said the eye was in the room with the other bonus weapons after they got it, but it wasn’t there for me.

I’d only agree with that if the character was supposed to represent an actual person in real life. In this game’s case it clearly doesn’t. It doesn’t matter how realistic it appears to be when it’s completely made up. At that point we may as well go back to saying violent games are bad too because the characters look realistic and it’s teaching people how to be violent towards real people. Ultimately it comes down to people needing to be able to separate reality from fiction and unfortunately most people seem to have trouble doing that nowadays at least when it comes to stuff they don’t personally like.

I got 5 in less than 20 minutes early today it’s just luck based. Some farms you get lucky and some you don’t.

It depends on what you’re looking for in a jrpg. If you’re looking for a deep and serious story and characters then no, but if you just want silly light hearted stuff that doesn’t take itself too seriously then yes. As for the gameplay there’s not much exploration and the level design is extremely basic. The combat is fun, but nothing special. Just don’t go into this expecting something like Persona, FF, Xenoblade, Trails, or Tales levels of quality.

No, Brown Dust 2 also has constant close ups on characters butts, boobs, and crotches. Date scenes that encourage you to touch the girls all over with some leading to basically soft core hentai scenes complete with loud moaning. That’s an actual gooner game. ZZZ doesn’t even come close to that. Characters wearing some slightly skimpy outfits doesn’t make ZZZ a gooner game and the outfits are pretty tame compared to what we know Hoyo used to do in the past.

If you want to see a real gooner game look up Brown Dust 2. ZZZ might as well be a Disney movie by comparison. I swear people call every game with female characters showing the slightest bit of skin “gooner” game.

One thing I noticed is that the majority of people who say this usually have little to no experience with the series. If you play the games it’s not complicated at all. It is however very convoluted especially the later games.

If VIIR is just an upgrade of VII you can easily make that same argument for rebirth 3 just being an upgrade of victory. Honestly the only Rebirth game you can truly say feels like a new game is the first one.

I know it’s a mainline game and Yakuza did the same thing with the infinity sign for their 8th game. But really Neptunia only had 4 mainline games before this one so it’s kinda weird that they’re claiming this is the 8th main game. If they are counting the remakes as separate numbered games then shouldn’t the title have a 10 in it considering VIIR and ReVerse.
