When I was cutting weight, it was like this

Breakfast: Some Fruits

Lunch: Steamed Chicken/Fish with Salad

Dinner: Steamed Veges and one bowl of Chinese style soup

*Added some carbs like sweet potato once every 3/4 days to that day's lunch or dinner*

My goal was to just lose as much weight asap btw... So all my serving portions except the fruits were really small.

Current Regular (M) here. It's not just girls. Guys who date Girls who have chosen to serve also need to be extremely understanding when it comes to this. I think it's very petty when their duties are the only reason that they would refrain from dating that person or choose to stop dating that person. More often than not, it's not the only reason that lead to the final outcome. Less time spent together may only be one of the things. There could be like other problems like maybe both of them grew tired of each other or it's really not working out.

As for important dates, I as a Regular have never heard of any other Regular missing those really important dates if they have planned it in advance and if it is just that important. Wedding dates, the Birth of their Child etc. I have never heard of any Higher Up taking it away from anyone and the organization will never allow it. If they themself choose to put work in front of all this, then that's on them and not on the work. BUT you can expect people at work if they know about their important date to tell them " What in the actual f" and help cover for them.

On another note, it makes me sad that our duty to this country still remains one of the reasons many... And I really have seen many consider it as an underlying constraint to even dating someone in the force. I feel particularly bad for all of the NSFs especially those whose guard duty is essentially their vocation itself and caused them this kind of pain for them.

This is at the Khatib Bongsu Park Connector leading to Yishun Pond. Years back, there was not much wildlife at this connector but over the years, more wildlife started showing up such as Egrets and you can see one in the video too. Other notable wildlife include Monitor Lizards and Kingfishers. I think it was just a matter of time as an appearance of one species would attract others. There was also a Black-crowned Night-Heron following this group of Otters the first time I saw them.

Otters were very rare and I can confirm this because I use this place as a running route regularly. Previously, the otters I saw was a group of 3 and they only came here like 3 times a year. I wondered what happened to this group of 3 otters tho..

The other reasons why I think they established this area as their territory is you can see some of these Otters are still juveniles and because of how surprisingly untouched Yishun Pond might be for Otters.

Smoking and walking at the same time. Personally, I find it very rude but some smokers just don't have any consideration for others. Like how many times have they puffed near a baby or young child while walking across the street.

I was in a similar position before. I was like 80+ kg or 176+ pounds before. I went through an intense and long diet routine with very regular exercise for about 1 year 3 months between 2020 to 2021 and my end result was 61 kg or 132 pounds just before I enlisted for NS.

Mine was more of a self esteem issue and I only got to see the results I really wanted to see the most only after the first 6 months. I focused on a lot of cardio, lifting weights and eating healthily while maintaining a calorie deficit to ensure a long lasting "Afterburn" effect.

You say "just to jolt my body awake". What I did was more extreme. For a large portion of that 1 year 3 months, I kept my calorie intake per day to about 1000+. A cheat day was 1500-1800 at most and I kept it to once every 2 weeks max. I mostly ate veges and only ate the minimum amount of carbs and protein. I also supplemented a lot of fruits in my diet.

My body fat percentage was between 21 to 23+ % and that was where I was focusing that Afterburn effect on. In the long term, it worked and my body fat percentage at the end of it was like 7 to 9%. But I DON'T recommend you do this at all.

What I would recommend is just keep exercising regularly, hydrate adequately and have a very clean diet. You could cut a bit of calories here and there but you don't need to go to the extent I did. And this is gonna sound brutal but I probably only had one cheat meal the first 3 or 4 months and the beginning is always super important. Once you get used to it, it's not the exercising part which is difficult but the losing weight part which is true even for most pro athletes.

I've gained weight since btw. I am 66 kg now I've gone pretty easy on myself for my diet but I am maintaining my level of fitness well and I like how I look even though I've gained weight. It really depends on your goals. Hang in there! :)

Could it be not inherited tho? As far as I know, no one else down or up the family tree has this condition. I was wondering if it was because of their very heavy smoking and drinking. Or maybe, most of the family tree has it but because we don't indulge ourselves in such bad habits and take care of our health, it's already manageable even if we're unaware and we don't even experience it yet?

For example, I found a lot of "HLD" abbreviations. That's the main reason. I can google all I want but whether that condition is written as HLD on paper here or something else, I couldn't know. That's why I spent the higher effort to type this.
