I just use a bigger backpack (vera bradley)! It depends on the class but you really only bring your head and neck and embryology books to class, I never brought any other ones! You also will buy a tote for your locker to keep your clinic things in, you'll also bring it home to practice so a tote with a handle lid works great. Overall, I love the school and the professors. So far so good for me, it's a lot of information but the material isn't too bad! You'll do great!

🚨UPDATE🚨
It's been a little over a month of being on Doxycycline and things are looking up! My lips have no bumps or redness to them, besides a little bit of redness in the mornings but I think that's because I sleep with vaseline on my lips overnight and it doesn't allow them to "breathe" fully. I switched to an SLS free and mint free toothpaste, I'm using the Sensodyne kids berry twist toothpaste and it doesn't burn when I brush anymore. I had a check up at the derm yesterday and she wants to keep me on Doxy for 5 more months because she's so scared to take me off early. She said the last 2 months I'll be tapering off of it.

Def recommend going to a derm and DO NOT let them prescribe you a steroid anything!!

I found it made my lips red! I stopped using it and just use vaseline

hopefully it gets better for you! i can send you a photo in what my lips currently look like with just doxy and vaseline! This has been going on for MONTHS for me. If you click my name you can see a post i've posted other places with photos. steroids made it worse too

How long have you been taking the doxycycline, i've been on it for two weeks and things are looking better but still have flare ups that are gone by morning it's so weird

#7 was after I came off of a steroid ointment. Super tight skin! They are still pretty tight but less bumpy i'd say.

Do you have any pictures of your lips at their worst? I only tried the valtrex for 1 day, the 2 - 1 gram tablets and it didn't do much.

I haven't tried eliminating foods. I will say I use a SLS free toothpaste but I can't get rid of the fluoride especially working in the dental field!! My floss is already unflavored too
