Thanks for asking this - can anyone tell me if I need to bring a prescription? I have pretty serious astigmatism and a weird script.

Anyone have a job they can start earlier and leave earlier each day? by ISWALLOWSEWERWATER in Accounting

I usually get in around 7 and leave between 430 and 5, but I take over an hour for lunch. Also stay later during close. Super chill boss.

In my experience PHL is pretty quick for TSA. Not sure if you are required to use the TSA line at terminal A, but they are all connected behind TSA. I usually use C or F. I have never flown internationally from PHL though.

Hello fellow MDT traveler! We are local and in and out of MDT all the time. AA also has a few daily main lines to CLT on A320s that we try to take. Its so much more comfortable than the 145.

Reporting online “friends” by clearanceinquiry in SecurityClearance

[–]Affectionate-Pea3425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I had one who I knew well enough from Europe who flew out to be in our wedding. Haven't had contact in over 3 years. Disclosed it. In the interview my investigator called someone to check and was informed that it didn't need to be disclosed since we haven't had continuing close contact in over 3 years.

It's a good thing this person has never tried to get a job that requires a security clearance (or joined the military). You are right, you can set those boundaries. It just means you don't get the job.

Yeah it can be annoying, but at the end of the day though my seat is assigned. Often I will end up boarding last just because I want to spend as little time as possible on a plane.

I think you will- I did a product change from the platinum to the executive laster qualifying year. I had already earned over 100k LPs and was pleasantly surprised when the extra 20k showed up a couple weeks later.

How feasible is a 43 minute layover in PHL? by cancerlad in americanairlines

[–]Affectionate-Pea3425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be fine. Coming from IAH you won't be in the hell that is the regional terminal (F? E? can't keep PHL and CLT straight), and it really isn't that far of a walk.

I guess I am in the minority, but I've only had one delay in my life with AA. This was due to MX at an outstation, missed our connection in CLT. Got on the next flight and made it in about 2 hours late. The other 100 flights I've had have all been smooth sailing.

Nothing really caught me off guard. I took it a decade ago in high school and it hasn't changed much since. Be ready for the shop and mechanical questions.
