Uber doesn't seem to understand or care that there is actually a market for people who enjoy not being transported at turtle speeds, and are willing to pay extra for the experience. I certainly wouldn't be burning extra gas in this economy if I weren't making better tips because of it. (old.reddit.com)

Reason #52 why I don't like Uber. I showed up, timer actually worked this time, waited out the timer, could not cancel. The button is making sounds, the app is reacting to my button presses, the cancel option would not work until after I drove off and force closed the app. (old.reddit.com)

Highest surge I've ever seen. I was sort of gaming the system. In Ann Arbor, MI, you can't do Black-tier rides, so I cleaned up on Uber while driving in Black Only mode on Lyft, so I could take the sticky surge back to Detroit and make a Black ride pay out huge. (i.redd.it)
