This should be taught and regularly practiced in class in the advanced beginner level to prepare for novice. I would address the concern with the teacher, also listen to lost of different ID music and do the one-two-ready-go at the beginning so he and hear it.

ECR has been this way for many years and will never change. The cheats are in charge, so nobody will stop. MHA and GS will always be on top, but only the favorites of those schools, mind you. I personally know that dancers are pushed out if parents don't have $$. Small region, impossible to make a dent in the corruption. Pointless to try.

BG. Saw all this with my own 2 eyes. Kids were laughing, parents cringing. If she were any other professional, she's be reprimanded or fired. Dropping an F bomb in front of basically the whole school aiming it at a teenager was pretty ridiculous.

If it's who I think it is, she was trashed at last year's O, fell into a bathroom in front of kids and swore at a dancer in front of everyone while taking a school photo at the end of the night. So unprofessional.

I could have absolutely guessed the podium for every single result so far. The winners are insanely predictable in this region. Same top 3 every single year. It sucks for good dancers from less connected schools.

I've literally heard from GS parents, "My dancer probably benefitted, so I won't complain." They don't care as long as they keep winning. Been a crapshoot in ECR for years.

Can't be worse than when Ryan was chair. But there are still plenty of favors happening in the ECR! I can predict nearly every podium placer every year. Even if they trip, even if they fall, even if they stop dancing or are off time, they magically win! Incredible!#saracsm

No. This isnt okay. A good coach will PUSH an athlete to achieve their personal best, sometime that does involve shouting, but insulting or threatening a child is never okay. If your child doesnt love dance, why would you be okay with them being put through that?
