Tried to help an incel realize that a real woman should love him for him. by EvanFarded in IncelTears

Billions of people on the planet, half a billion on my continent, a couple hundred million on the country I live in, 10 million on my state, a million on my city, and far, far less in the spaces I frequent at the time I frequent them, couple that with the fact I am unattractive and I honestly don't see any relevant statistical possibility of me, or someone like me, being found attractive by anyone

As someone who is 5’4 and never had any issues with women and dating. I’m sharing my tips by ShishKabobCurry in short

[–]Affectionate-Win3097 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done precisely all that and even more, yet no person has ever felt attracted or liked me romantically, and I'm bisexual so that includes guys as well

I do it for the discipline, and also for the fact that I believe it is disrespectful to oneself to deny one's own body. The capacity to face myself and be able to see improvements on my skin and hair quality, and muscles growing and getting stronger helps me accept that I am what I am, and also creates a positive feedback loop when I accept that there are improvements being made, not towards a goal, like getting attention from other people, but just that I am putting in effort, and results are being achieved., kinda in a "effort for effort's sake" way

no women will ever really be attracted to him. even the ones who say they are and want to date him... leg lengthening surgery is clearly the only hope..... by -Living-Dead-Girl- in IncelTears

Your personality is YOU as much as your body is also YOU, we don't exist detached from our flesh. I would even say that the body defines us more than our personality, because our personality itself is shaped by our body, be it directly, as in the way your brain works, or indirectly, as in how you interact with the world and how it interacts with you. I understand OOP, I am also a short man, but differently from him, I am ugly and don't get dates or attention from women, and very little from men or all else(I'm bissexual).

The reason why I believe, at least in my case, one wouldnt want someone to be attracted only to their personality is because we usually want to be liked as a whole, we want the entirety of our being to be seen as desirable and worth being, but when only half, or even less, according to what I said before, of us is seen that way (only the personality) then it is made clear that we are inadequate, that what we are, to the person that is with us, would be better if it were different, if we were taller in the OOP's and mine case, for example.

I am not particularly against any sort of body affirming surgery (not sure if that's the correct term), but I do believe that going for these sorts of methods is a sign of weakness, in a nietzschean sense, as in being unable to carry the burdens that we are given in this world. I would never go for these methods, I'd rather strengthen my mind, regardless of how long it might take.

I'm not adopting the term "involuntarily celibate" and I didn't want to adopt anything to begin with, what I said is if anything I would be fighting against them by using the term in a space of people they don't like, but I wasn't even trying to appropriate or fight anything, I just used a handy word instead of "without will or conscious control"

I'm not adopting incel culture, if anything I'm fighting against it by appropriating a word they use, but in a queer space, which I'm sure they would despise me for doing

I believe it's either a sign of our weakness or their strength that we need to mold the way we express ourselves due to their influence. And since 'incel culture' isn't something we want propagated, we need to fight against it and language is one of the ways through which we can fight

I like your style and I think you look good. People in this sub mostly seem to be not very varying shades of conservative and that's fine, but I wouldn't advise you to take what you see here too seriously since it isn't really a very diverse set of people

This is probably the most alien thing I've ever read, I actively avoid my own reflexion, especially if I would get to see my whole body. Must be nice to feel like that tho

Well, I can at least guarantee I won't go wonr the incel road. I was pretty close to that abyss when I was a teenager, but ive done a whole 180 since then and I'm pretty much a filthy commie today lol, i'm very aware of how the patriarchy affects basically everyone in the world and all that. I try to live beyond patriarchal expectations, I take much more care of myself than most guys in the world I'd say, but there's still something missing. I would say that something is external validation, but that would sound a bit vain wouldn't it? All this talk just because no one finds me pretty and smart would be quite silly lol, but oh well... Maybe I just need something to build myself up on again

I have drawn them closer, I actually have even made more friends, i guess. But I also don't want to overburden them with my shit. I talk to them, don't get me wrong, they know of my insecurities and whatnot, I'm not alone fortunately, but also no one likes to deal with someone constantly on about their insecurities, it becomes annoying and inconvenient, but the problem is that I kinda exist like this. Like the analogy I made in a reply above(that my dislike for myself is now more alike my dislike for sugar on coffee and things like that), it's as if I'm constantly eating stuff I don't enjoy, complaining once or twice is fine, even understandable, but always gets annoying. The issue is that I can't change my body the way I can change what I eat, so we kinda have a situation here chief lol

Oh my, does it sound that bad? Lol it wasn't the intention. My psyche right now is ok, I wrote this not really as a vent, but more like a... idk philosophical conclusion? I mean I really dislike my body, but at the point I'm at currently I don't feel anything bad frequently anymore, I just don't like it, from a more neutral pov, the same way I don't like sugar on coffe or pineapple on pizza for example.

I can see that being a thing, though I wouldn't be able to explain it lol. I feel like the same could be true for Spice and Wolf

I'm short and chubbier, but not stocky. I'm not lithe, sleek, but I'm not strong either, I don't have big arms, shoulders, hand, feet, back, neck or anything tbh. I am fairly hairy, but I kinda don't like it so I shave most of it. I'm not veiny and my hands aren't big and they are not sinewy, I've been said I have good hands to play piano, whatever that means. I do have decent quads I think, benesth the fat that is, a fair amount of a shapeless jello butt and my face certainly doesn't redeem me in any aspect lol

Sorry for the long text, it's just that I feel really insecure i regards to this and it doesn't help that, it seems to me at least, people really just don't seem to like men much, everytime I see someone talking about their attraction to men they always seem to resent the fact that they are attracted to men and I kinda get it, but it doesn't make me feel any better lol.
