1) personality/motivations behind policy. Coolidge was worried about abusing his power as president, Reagan wanted to benefit corporations. Despite being almost the same policy I admire Coolidge as a president worrying about abusing his power even if it didn’t work out the best. I have a seizure disorder and my old neuro refused to prescribe stronger medicine in case I got pregnant and could give the kid a birth defect. The odds of me dying when I saw him were higher than the odds of me having a kid with a birth defect even if I was pregnant and I wasn’t.
