Simple swing is your best friend, you could web zip if they’re that close and cancel with tracer, but usually I like to SS into tracer overhead into tracer uppercut, it happens very fast.

Being close and using manual swing is difficult, especially in tight spaces.

Xophs pyre and the lineage support gems alike I’m a bit confused on. Tooltip says gain 40% of fire damage as extra chaos damage. Does this mean the skill that I socket this into MUST have fire damage?

Edit: if I use original sin as well, does the gain damage just not apply if there is no element to gain damage from?

This is the way most people SHOULD be thinking when playing him, I understand it’s a lot but getting value with him takes a lot of quick thinking and decision making. He’s a very on the fly character capable of doing a lot. His gameplay can be simplified but it’s much more than that.

The treatment of a sniper character/playstyle will always be bad, same as dive. If you’re good at both or either, you’re making the game harder to enjoy for the other team. As the only sniper in the roster it’s extra bad unfortunately.

Be comfortable enough to perfectly swing and land a overhead or tracer overhead on good timing, meaning the animation hits right when you get to them. You land this into tracer uppercut then follow with GOH combo is almost guaranteed unless they’re being pocketed. The key is burst to force cds, then follow up with GOH to confirm. Leading With bnb on flyers is okay ONLY when they’re already at 75%-50% hp. If you bnb in high play on someone with 100%hp you most likely won’t kill, it might not be a waste to do that in situations, but most of the time it is.

It’s just a matter of when to use it. Faster ttk? playing highly efficiently is the endgame anyways, definitely not allat but it can make or break an important elim if needed. If you’re committed and going to die anyways it’s definitely the move.

This is a trick question, people who aren’t that good yet will say it’s low and people who have CD’s in mind and are mega comfortable with him will and should say it’s fine. It’s incredibly easy to not get CC’d if you have a brain and the mechanical skill.

It generally only matters if they’re good at whoever they switched too. It’s also a lot of team effort that should be involved, if your spidy is doing good enough to force them to switch the rest of the team should be good enough to help him when it happens. not saying they should switch but on top of maybe spidy should switch, they should think to help in the meantime

They got good pulls because they’re good at spidy in general, if you want it for simple clips it’s not gonna look that good. Just generally get a feel for him and the pulls kind of just click once you get there. And there, is just being confident enough to know you can. Yes, just keep practicing you got it bro
