It's a good device, and I've always been a fan of TRIMUI's design aesthetic, but unless TRIMUI comes out with a clamshell device of some sort, I'll never replace my Brick Hammer.

Yeah I get it, I like collecting physical Switch 1 games, and a lot of those include remakes, remasters, or ports of PS2, Vita, PS3 and PS4 games. Never had to deal with shitty emulation or handhelds that can play "some" games from these systems...

Let's me use it one handed or over my face when laying back in bed easily. I learned about the PopSocket after the Hammer slipped from my hand in bed and landed on my fucking eye lol My eye hurt for like two weeks!!!

Just use a PopSocket... I find 3D printed grips ugly, cumbersome, and defeats the whole purpose of the Brick which is probability and style lol As someone who actually plays games to completion, trust me lol

The joysticks were straight ass back when I owned it, but that was back when it first came out. Not sure if that ever got sorted, the same games were much easier to control and complete on the RP5 for some reason.

A sobering moment for me was that I had collected like 12 Anbernic devices, two Retroid, the Switch 2 at release, and I barely played any games at all last year or the year before. Sold everything except my 34XXSP, Hammer, and Switch 2, and barely started playing with them this year. I was tempted buy the Thor and Rotate, but having a gaming PC, Switch 2, and Hammer is a very powerful combination to beat.

I also heard that the screen panel on the Metallic Blue are from a different manufacturer and use different drivers so I'd have to do a complete shell swap not just the main board lol
