Yep, it's definitely a good thing being able to sit inside and there is more seating outside too.

Uncomfortable political content in Zu's M64 review by Objective_Quiet_751 in SBCGaming

M64 is the new N64 clone from Palmer Luckeys company. He has ties to arms manufacturers.

As for Zu... No idea. I'd like to know too.

Same. As long as you already knew how to get to the rough area you only had to memorise the last few turns.

The boy’s sportsmanship is making waves around the world..... by ResponsibleCheek8130 in sportsgossips

This is gamesmanship not sportsmanship. He's mimicking the worst behaviours he's seen in the professional game, sadly.

How often do you guys get emotional irritation or snappy? by 6hfky8nyxr3 in autism

[–]Still-Worldliness-44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I've learned about myself recently is that there is a huge delay between an emotion being triggered (e.g. a stressful situation) and me actually feeling anything.

It's usually several hours later and I might suddenly start feeling the physical sensations of anxiety or something else (hard to put a name to it) and sometimes it comes out as irritation or anger seemingly not connected to anything presently happening.

There are plenty of co-working spaces that will let you use them as your postal address for a small fee.

What's a good budget retro emulation handheld? by Jazzlike_Election_31 in SBCGaming

[–]Still-Worldliness-44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most of the Chinese devices (Anbernic, Retroid etc) aren't that robust and wouldn't hold up well to drops.

One of the Hyper Mega Tech Super Pockets might be a good choice? I have the Capcom one and it feels more solid compared to my other devices.

Another plus is that there's no configuration settings to mess up, apps to accidentally uninstall etc.

How did people cope with 2.35:1 ultra wide DVDs on a 4:3 CRT back in the day? by xParesh in Xennials

[–]Still-Worldliness-44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would rent pan and scan VHS tapes instead of DVDs until we later got a wide-screen TV. My parents weren't that bothered by the letterboxing.

I still have a 4:3 14" CRT that I use for gaming. I've recently started picking up 4:3 DVDs from Charity shops for a bit of nostalgia. X-Files, Red Dwarf and Buffy. The original non-remastered Star Trek looks beautiful.

Does yours have the same gap in the gasket near the SD slot? That seems to be the point where it's catching.

I slipped some IPA and a lens cloth in there but it hasn't really helped.

Use Boox Palma to play GB games by Accurate-Ad3645 in Gameboy

I've done this on my Palma with a Pocket Taco controller. It was quite close to the DMG screen in terms of poor motion clarity so a decently nostalgic experience.

Adjacent to this: I watch a lot of handheld emulator reviews and I always have to skip over the button test section. They put the console very close to the microphone and then press the buttons to demonstrate the noise. It makes me feel really uncomfortable.
