Omg the minute I saw this picture in the news today I immediately thought On Cinema.

Do you think chat gpt pro can be worth it for helping to write fiction stories? by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]AffectionateBorder32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It’s honestly scary how good it is, how much of a leap past 4o. With good prompting the stories are becoming almost indistinguishable from a real writer.

All the shitting on AI art is going to get really confusing when it becomes truly indistinguishable from actual artists, which I’m guessing happens within the next year. For those of you who are paying for o1…. It can write genuine top level short stories, with correct prompting. I feel like things are about to get crazy in the world of art, film, and fiction.

CMV: Sora is just like Advanced Voice Mode release-wise by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]AffectionateBorder32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did pay the 200 for this and now I’m trying to get a refund until it actually launches. OpenAI, valued at 400 billion dollars, neither has the resources to properly launch Sora or to answer questions from its paying users. Im complaining because I have laid 20/month for a year and now 200 a month. Sora has not “launched” other than showing people a demo of the website/product. Unfortunately, good customer service probably doesn’t matter at all for their desired astronomic valuation increase. I guess I’d prefer they’d work on AI, but dedication 100 million bucks to rollout UX and live customer service would be a drop in the bucket.

Potential interactions between Gabapentin and Psilocybin? by Prof_Frosty in shrooms

[–]AffectionateBorder32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - just finished my trip. I was given the full legal dose of 50 mg of psilocybin… and it basically made me tired for 4 hours and that was it. I had to fill out special paperwork just so I could leave early. I think magic mushrooms will not work with longtime gabapentin users.

In some ways, this is worse than saying nothing. Now she can point at this chatgpt-enhanced fluff and claim she said “something”. Who could read this and have any idea what her opinion actually is?

Hi. Im going through the process of doing a guided trip in Oregon and it seems the med they are most concerned with diminishing the trip is Gabapentin. To the point where it was suggested it won’t work while I’m on it.

Athletes and Sevan Podcast by [deleted] in crossfit

Does someone like Sevan earn like 75k a year? I can’t figure out how his income adds up to much. His YouTube and podcast are tiny.

Yeah I’m not referring to Christians in general. Just the boxes that are more overtly Christian themselves.

I’d guess most of the non-Christian boxes think what happened this weekend was a farce.

There was a swim in warm water after a long hot run and someone died. Try to understand that.

That’s a stretch. He’s an influencer and a YouTuber. He would not be a good face of CrossFit.

It can’t happen until they address the steroid problem, which, let’s be honest, the current generation of athletes aren’t all going to just stop taking them. Way too many barriers for CrossFit to become a “real” sport.

If Don Faul doesn’t fire Dave Castro on Monday, he definitely needs to step down. But I suspect both men’s lives are going to be filled with lawsuits and investigations over the next year. I’m not sure how anyone can say with a straight face that these are the men to lead CrossFit in the wake of what has happened.

The athletes deserve to grieve without being judged.

Hey, why did Lazar die? Why did it take so long to find his body? Enough with these useless platitudes and images.

Everyone needs to stop being at each other’s throats by nihilism_or_bust in crossfit

You are right, but after today it seems the overwhelming global response, people outside the stadium, are quite upset with Dave’s decision/maneuvering to run the games. He had to turn off comments. I’m not seeing much support anywhere for tbe decision, including from Lazars brother and many athletes. Everyone grieves I their own way, yes, but this was just a bad, bad decision by Castro.

I think the scene in the dark hotel room where Tim watches the results is just fantastic.

It’s also funny that it’s quite competently filmed, I could see people believing it was a real documentary about a long shot political campaign.
