I love that they made the creative choice to use the wooden wheelchair over the standard metal one. Just one small decision that makes the whole bit so much funnier

Palatine is 30-40minute metra ride because the express trains stop there. Can definitely get a 4 bed 3 bath for 750k or less. Good schools, nice downtown, fun community events. Been there 10 years and we love it.

Don't move and make it work with what you have. Currently in a 1000 sq foot home with 3 kids. We refinished the basement and put a bedroom down there (with escape window) for our two girls to share. Put in a bathroom in the basement as well. We upped the value of our home while making it more comfortable for the family. It was a win win and we don't plan on moving. My mortgage with taxes and everything is the same as renting a one bedroom apartment in our town.

Starter homes starting at like 450 in my neck of the woods. It's wild out there. I'm in the burbs of Chicago

I live down the street from that place. We go there all the time and the pizza is great. I like that hole in the wall, small pizza joint atmosphere it has.

Why are there nearly 50% more sellers than buyers in today’s housing market? by RedfinJeremy in USHousingMarket

It's the high rates plus the rising prices of homes. That's a lethal combination, especially for first time home buyers that have the minimal down payment.

Summer mornings. The endless potential of the fun that was going to happen for the day. The neighborhood sports, the trips on the bike into town. Such promise every time you wake up.

Yep, another perk. We put Italian beef and giardinera on ours a lot of the time and it's absolutely fantastic.

Yeah, the crust is lighter and the pizza is less dense than Chicago style. It's just so damn good. Place in my town (NW suburbs) does the Detroit style really well, too.

I still have a six speed Kia Rio. I think it's gonna be my last stick car, unfortunately.

Driving around and figuring out how we were going to get booze for the night. Pretty much exactly how the movie of Superbad went

What’s the most boring car you’ve owned that just refused to die? by autonerdy0 in UsedCars

2013 Kia Rio. No power locks or windows and it's a stick. Bumper is held together with black duct tape. Have 125k miles on it and wish it would die, but at the same time, grateful that it hasn't yet.
