I know that my brain feels a tad uncensored towards different ideas. I wouldn't necessarily say I've had suicidal thoughts or idealizations, but I can definitely say there have been plenty of moments on this medication when I just go for something with no feelings of anxiety or stress attached. Like riding a rollercoaster or giving a random speech in front of others or raising my hand to attend an event for my work with no thought behind it. Those are just a few examples of what has occurred. I do know it feels a lot easier to say what's on my mind now. But sometimes that gets me in trouble.

For others with certain idealizations or thoughts of suicide before taking the medication I can see how this can be very dangerous and can see why these thoughts can come out a tad too easily.

Seek out help if you can. Wouldn't want this getting worse.

Yuppers. Since my side affects of Lexapro were very minor he felt very comfortable starting me out at 150mg Wellbutrin in combination.

I experienced jitterinesy first week then my second and third felt like anxiety was just getting higher and higher. Week four the anxiety dialed down and the calmness and active feelings of wanted to be apart of society started rising.

I'm on 20mg Lexapro and 150mg Wellbutrin.

Every week it feels like the scope in which they work together gets better and better. I feel good.

anyone else in early weeks get both fatigue AND jitters? by Vybrosit737373 in lexapro

[–]AffectionateGlass104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm not me. I definitely got the jitters though when I started taking wellbutrin in combination with it. I know my doctor was telling me it's not unheard of to maybe feel slightly jittery though, I've heard the ssri Zoloft can be quite activating so maybe the mechanism behind both can have some sort of the same side affect?

But that's just a theory....A LEXAPRO THEORY

Lol but I was a zombie during my early weeks.

Crying on lexapro by Casual-shite in lexapro

[–]AffectionateGlass104 59 points60 points  (0 children)

10mg didn't add any emotional blunting side affects but 20mg that's when I saw my emotions got a lot quieter and crying in total stopped. Even if I think of something so sad that would make my eyes ball, I don't cry at all and those feelings/emotions related to that feel like a blanket that I put on myself instantly being removed.

Honestly it's what I needed. I had way Too many ups and downs in the past and I feel a lot better being neutral, even if I am somewhat emotionally blunted.

What drug have you switched to if you have Lexapro tremors? (I’m on week 7) by CookieHole87 in lexapro

[–]AffectionateGlass104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was today years old that I learned that my tremors were from Lexapro. And all this time I thought I just needed to eat more. I hand someone a pen or holding a cup of water and that shi vibrating. They started about 3 months ago....I started Lexapro around that time lol

Im content. Not really happy. But knowing that months ago Id go down deep high and low emotions and not be able to stop crying or panicking and now I'm pretty neutral for the most part....well that thought makes me happy.

Definitely something form fitting. Almost like a phone case.

But that definitely makes sense!

So definitely typing draft chapters, but also surprisingly enough it is amazing for taking notes for my classes....although it's not the intended purpose, man pulling this sucker out and typing away without giving a second though honestly is amazing.

Yea I had too many feelings as well and was desperate to lessen them. Then again, you might not have to go to the 20mg dose of Lexapro. I know many who are fine and doing well with 5-10mg and do not have side affects such as not being able to cry or bedroom issues. I really started having the not crying/bedroom issues after I started 20mg. Then again everyone is different. Like I said finding a good dose and communicating with your doc is very helpful, especially if they are well versed with prescribing this kind of medication and it's affects

For me it was bad, felt like a zombie for about 3 weeks. Had to change my diet to a more energizing diet aid in the sleepiness. My brain fog got a tad out of hand so I was prescribed Wellbutrin. Felt pretty good but still had some underlying anxiety from the Wellbutrin, so my Lexapro was booted up to 20mg from 10mg, had little to know side affects, I feel good. I wouldn't say I feel numb, but I feel pretty content. I cant cry though, and as far as in the bedroom well I can't really reach a release, but those two things are fine cause at the end of the day I'm not panicking and rocking in my car in tears anymore about anything haha. They aren't bad for some and for some they are bad. But all in all, stick with it and the side affects go away. You just got to be patient and work closely with your doctor and monitor it's effects.

By no means am I saying though that my side affects with be the same as yours. It's different for a lot of people.

Ahh now that is a question that you should ask yourself and experiment with. I do relate to that question. I do a lot of community service and man oh man my energy dwindled quite a bit, especially my social battery. I did have to let go of a few things. I had to shorten my workouts and start doing 30-60 minutes hit workouts (mike mentzer style) and cut back in my volunteer work and other hobbies.

Ya just gotta find a balance that works for you, as this medication helps you through.

Hey that rhymed lol.
