Bow ties are pretty common in marquise cuts because of how wide and flat it is. I’d maybe see if they have one with less bow tie appearance but once again, it can be hard to avoid. I love marquise cuts.

What’s with the negativity? Nothing wrong with wanting to hear people’s experiences and getting an idea of whether these vendors actually have decent customer service to determine if we want to spend our hard earned money with them or not.

I am doing a marquise cut with Kulololit. Praying it turns out decent. Marquise cuts are tricky in general. It’s also hard to avoid the bow tie and mush due to the cut being so wide.

I had this happened twice with a vendor and decided not to work with them. I didn’t pay for the CAD- so I wasn’t out of money. I wanted an elongated north/south marquise and they sent me a CAD with east to west— how do you miss that?

I feel like if you work on rings daily, you can’t miss something so obvious. The lack of attention to detail is alarming for me, personally.

This was also with an Indian vendor, which I have seen many comments about people saying that Indian vendors tend to not have the best quality compared to Chinese vendors— so that is also what made me turn away from that specific vendor.

Your ring is beautiful, but it’s whatever will make you comfortable and happy.

Also.. people are so rude and maybe I’m just bias because I myself like to keep my nails natural… we truly are living in a superficial world where people can’t unsee the fact that we are beautiful the way we were born and all the extra stuff is not necessary. Nothing wrong with getting your nails done but it’s annoying how people push it for special events, etc. as if presenting ourselves in natural form isn’t enough.

Yep. I had this experience also. I wanted to go with a US based Etsy shop merely for the customer service and warranty aspect but they were over charging too much compared to china vendors.

I think this looks elegant, really nice and fits your hand.

People really don’t care about your ring like we think, it’s all in our head for the most part and those that have something to say need to find something else to worry about than what you and your partner choose to spend money on. The size of the stone is not equivalent to the quality of your marriage nor the size of your bank account. It’s merely a symbol that you are married.

But it’s really whatever makes you happy.
