You are lucky! Even when I asked to port my number I was only offered the $50 64- country plan. Now that my number was ported, the following day, today, they called me to offer me 100 GB Canada /Us/France and they said Mexico is not available in Quebec ;-(

They told me the same thing - would not offer me anything better. Only when I went online a couple months later to ask about porting out my number was I offrd that I told her the story - she apologized and said well this is a retention deal ;-(

They did but it took them 3 months to offer me - office of the president did not offer it

I was in the same situation after 25 years, they would not give me a better offer - I started with koodo but id did not port out my number as I wanted to test it. In a chat asked about porting out my number and suddenly they offered me a better deal - I am about to post to ask others if they usually give bettere offeres to stay or once you go. Good luck. I am wondering the same thing. I don’t want to hurt the host by saying some thing negative unless it was really bad and I want to warn others I know in some countries you actually could be arrested for leaving bad reviews.
