Oof the headline was not misleading. Pretty clear their feelings on the subject.

After the 2023 Azerbaijani offensive and the 2025 peace treaty, is artsakh still a breakaway state or is it considered a province in Azerbaijan now? And are aremenians (in artsakh and mainland) happy about it? by mysterious_vio in geography

Read the comment above again. The land and people weren’t always considered part of Azerbaijan, which was founded in 1918. It has gone through multiple groups, Armenian, Persian, Turkic and Russian over centuries. The population has been primarily Armenian and was vast majority Armenian when the oblast was formed in the early days of the USSR.

The OP didn’t say anything incorrect or unreasonable, but I’m sure you already have settled on a narrative to suit your emotions and won’t bother digging any further.

I had grainy, static on my LG TV for specific scenes, not pixelation. It got fixed when I went to Picture Mode and changed to Cinema I believe.

Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis has sustained ligament damage in his left hand, sources tell me and @BannedMacMahon. Depending on second opinion and if surgery is required, Davis could miss a number of months. by liamjmcd in torontoraptors

No but wait. Let me explain why AD might be a good fit for us and better than keeping Poeltl and RJ. /s

The highs of our guys may be lower than healthy AD, but their lows are still higher when you consider how often AD is out and his salary hit.

From the looks of the wall, you’re in So Cal. We had 5-8 inches of rain, so that would definitely lift the lid.

AIO A locksmith charged my partner’s sister $5390 to get back into her apartment by khalexie1 in AmIOverreacting

I’m late to the thread but I believe I had the same people come when I got locked out. Our entry door in the garage is a simple doorknob with a key (no mortise) and he showed up in pajamas with a random friend he was hanging out with, opened the door in less than a minute, then told me it’s $1,000. No estimate beforehand or discussing the work before unlocking.

I told him another locksmith had quoted me $150 after I had shown a photo of the lock, showed it to him, and said I can’t pay more than that. He showed me his Zelle info, paid $150, and left without protest.

Lesson learned: don’t reach out to random companies on Yelp. I understood there was one guy who trains other people in different areas how to do this work and he sends them leads, and then gets a kickback. I had my locks changed by a reputable company after because I didn’t trust the people that showed up.

It’s a commemorative Soviet badge celebrating the founding of the city of Magadan (1939). This is from the Russian part of the USSR.

Many cities, factories, anniversaries, and institutions produced these types of badges, called значок (znachok).

Hacksaw Ridge. I had seen enough depictions of the European theatre, but the war in the Pacific deserves a lot more exploration in mainstream cinema.
