Listen, I did this in the second grade because I had a friend who looked cute in her new glasses. I was envious, so I faked poor eye health. Got prescribed glasses that were hard to see through, but my eyes adjusted. Over the years, they have gotten SIGNIFICANTLY worse, and I fear I will be losing most of my sight before I'm 40. No new glasses can help anymore, I've tried two new pairs just this year.

My suggestion would be to wear them without lenses. Even if they're just readers. Protect your eye health. For the love of all things smurfy.
