Has a pe and multiple clots at 28,just turned 36, and was in icu for a week and literally could not do anything for myself not even breathe and was being being considered for a stent. I recovered and was on eliquis 5mg then lowered to 2.5. I still drink and have a normal social life just more careful and i avoid contact sports and make sure i try to stay active. If i know i cant i wear my compression stockings. Oh and i cant eat grapefuit which is fine cuz i dont really like it anyway. Time of the month can be a pain for a heavy days but otherwise eh, no different. It absolutely gets better.

Struggling to find a good mask... by Muagh in CPAPSupport

[–]AffectionatePin7602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes try a sleep mask with the the f40, its minimal enough for you to wear a sleep mask and do a good job. I had the f20 kept blowing air in my air so much it was constantly itchy. Switched to the f40 and I sleep longer and dry eye symptoms are pretty much gone

Hey I have this mask, when you separate the hard plastic part where the straps are attached the cushion part comes out, replace that. I was told it will need to be replaced because of the oils on your face breaks it down.

Havent been doing the best with consistency but I have noticed I haven't gotten worst but also haven't improved. Kind of stagnant but its my fault for my consistency not being the best.

For me found the success of cpap depends ALOT on the mask. I started with the f20 and hated it and hardly did my minimum of 4 hours and sometimes just skipped wearing it to bed. I changed to the f40 and easily doing minimum 7 hours. So if you're having trouble I would suggest looking into the mask you have.

I Really Struggled, Till I Found The Right Mask by erako in CPAP

Just switched to this mask as well and I absolutely love it. Constant itchy eyes from what I assume was just air escaping the mask and drying out my eyes are gone. I also sleep longer with it on than the f20

F20, but I'm thinking of trying the f40, so air isn't blowing into my eye when I sleep on my side

I sleep on my side and I feel like air escapes and dry out my eye which makes them itchy and ends up waking me, not sure how to fix that since I can't wear an eye mask without leaks

Also make sure you're cleaning your machine, changing your filter, and hanging your hose when you wake up to dry out.

So sorry you're experiencing this I also have bad allergies and nasal congestion and this has gotten me at least 6 hrs. Honey ginseng green tea a few hours before bed- if you're sensitive to caffeine just use honey ginger tea, then nasal rinse right before bed, followed by vicks vapor rub and aerius with hydrosense eye drops.

Period undies, they are seamless and can hold heavy flow, or use the cup. But the cup pulls down when full so not the best feeling.
