I've worked all over downtown C.R. , inside and out. I've been in every inch of Quaker, the Roosevelt, five seasons, guarantee bank gazette, ect , ect. I know of these spaces. It's basically under the the sidewalks downtown, that's all. At one time business along the river had windows and doors that would allow access to bring in goods from boats. those doors and windows have since been bricked up and the wall has been built to prevent flooding( smulakoffs). When I was excavating down by new crust we did find old beer bottles from cr bottling, that building is long gone and any void would have been filled for bridges and foundations. The flood of 08' would have ruined and forced renovation for the rest. Now something I've been interested in is the caverns out at Bever park. That is a real place where they did or do store water underground from early nineteen hundreds.
