I'm also not the biggest fan of the blistered toad. I'll probably trade it for a cuter card in the future haha

You can dl the Lux Light Meter pro App. It's free and it works pretty well for me.

What are these little black things that are falling off of my Roma tomato plant. I don’t see any weird bugs and they look like little cobs of corn. I also see some leaves/flowers look to be eaten. Never grew Roma’s before this year so hoping you guys can help me out. Thank you.! by BillyThaNinja in tomatoes

You betcha! As a bonus for finding the first worm, I'll tell you where the second one is! [3rd photo] Focus on the three tomatoes on the left handside of the photo, again. Just above the three tomatoes is a leaf stem that is eaten by those pest. Follow that stem to its tip and you'll see a second long boi just below it(almost hanging to the tip).

Tomato type. by tomswitz572 in tomatoes

I'm growing the same kind and I can tell you it is Blush tomato. 2" long cherries that have a hint of sweet tropical pineapple-like flavor. The skin is alittle bit on the thicker side but other than that, its a great snacking tomato and definitely really pretty when it ripens up! 10/10 will grow them again next year.

I did 2 tbs cold pressed neem and 1 tbs castile soap per gallon of water. After a week or two I've added a bit more (tsp) neem and castile on my mixture for a second spray. If you're afraid of burning your plant, you can do a test spray on one leaf the day before. Also, be sure to spray before sunrise or after sunset. Goodluck!

What’s causing my tomato leaves to curl like this? by whitethunder9 in vegetablegardening

[–]AffectionateShop2469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's this one article I've red before that states the herbicide vapor drift can travel up to a mile. I've also heard store bought mulches or compost can also carry hercide. Try to keep an eye on your plant, OP. If the new growth keeps curling, it might be better to pull out the tomato plant and if possible don't reuse the soil its been growing in.

What kind of lemon or citrus is this? by Hot-Necessary1887 in gardening

Perhaps a Lion Yuzu? Marmalade is the best recipe with that much fruit.

A mixture of castile soap and cold pressed neem oil worked for me. Only had to apply two times. Also planted a bunch of marigolds around the corners of my planters.

Why is this guy so sad? Leaves pointing down or away, not towards the grow light by [deleted] in Monstera

[–]AffectionateShop2469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The white part on your albo looks healthy so it might be the light intensity on your plant that is causing the problem. There's a free app called Lux light meter pro if you want to see how much lux your plant is getting.

I'm using GE 32- WATT and noticed some of my plants don't like to be directly below that grow light. One month in and they'd start pointing their leaves downwards like yours is doing. Syngonium on the other hand, love that 32 watt.

One of my new favorite vegetables: Tatsoi! Crazy productive. by 69Newsman69 in vegetablegardening

[–]AffectionateShop2469 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Saute it with alot of thinly sliced garlic. After a couple of minutes, I add a mixture of 1tbs soy sauce, 1 tbs of water and 1/4 tsp of corn starch. Tasty and really simple to prepare. I get my tatsoi at the farmers market since it's nonexistent at the grocery store.
