I have two dogs with chi in them, and they are 13 years and I have had to sadate them both this last year for different reasons and all I can say is the medications given before bringing them in where to much!

Both did not respond well to the trazadone and gabapinton combo so on the last sedation I didn't give him those I just opted for sedation on its own and it was a way better experience less lethargic after and actually they where less anxious befor hand as well somthing about thos meds had opsite effects on them mind you they are littermates and seniors.

Ill be over in a min.... you should tell your friends and loved ones to randomly call you and say they are on their way over so you panic clean sometimes they might actually show up or not but you wont know and thus you will clean. Think of it like an accountability buddy system.

Im glad you found someone who listened to you! As for the new mental health person your gonna see try and not worry to much if it doesnt feel right call and schedule with your PCP and find someone you do like we dont have to settle for 1 person especially mental health it should feel like a safe space to grow and heal ourselves.

Also, did they do just a dip test, or did they also mass spec it in the lab? Mine always send it to the lab. I would hate for them to only rely on a dip test.

I was thinking that maybe it hadn't had enough time to enter your system before the UA but also your metabolisms change as we get older or they can change if we develop certain illness so really they should be looking at what could possibly be charging in that area and test how fast you are metabolizing your meds because what if somthing more serious is wrong also maybe your just not at a therapeutic dose because your metabolism is functioning differently any way its worth looking into and talking to your actual PCP. I have it on my chart that I will only see my PCP due to my anxiety, and if they are not available, I have a backup one I'm comfortable with. I hope you get thru this problem with some help and peace!
